“The restaurant was excellent as were the ales and wine list. Good location for the South West Coast Path and bus service stops right outside. Breakfast supplied by the nearby Farm Shop was delicious.”

“A lovely one night stay. The pub is in a quiet village location, close to lots of interesting places in beautiful Dorset countryside. Our room was large, with an equally large bathroom. We ate in the pub in the evening. The menu choice was good, prices reasonable and the food was excellent. We had our breakfast served outside in the garden and, again, this was tasty, hot and really enjoyable. Thoroughly recommended.”

“The magical mattress and pillows gave us a very comfortable night stay at Calm Sea. The room with 1 double bed and 2 single beds is cozy and good size. We love the little corner table with some games. The breakfast is awesome! The hosts Mel & Trish are very friendly and helpful :)”

“So close to the Weymouth promenade, the small double is very small but dog friendly and clean enough for the price well worth it. Parking is a problem. ”

“Great place to stay, easy for us to access Dorchester and Weymouth. Staff were all terrific, made the stay very welcoming. The room was lovely and comfortable (tiny bits of upkeep needed in the bathroom was my only point of feedback!) Would 100% recommend and stay again.”

“Arrived after dark, unable to gain acess to property. No security lighting, very limited parking and key broke in lock. On call seemed perturbed that we had called them out. After gaining access eventually found property had not been cleaned, no bedding , clearly untidy and very poor. Basically , inhabitable. Would not recommend this property.”
