"The chalet was clean and comfortable and in a lovely peaceful and picturesque location. However we did have a problem with the bathroom door as lock was lose and on occasions we couldn't get out of the bathroom or in if the door was properly closed. On stripping of the beds as requested by the cleaning company notes left in the chalet, my daughter was quite upset to discover a dodgy looking yellow stain on the mattress protector under the bottom sheet and also on the pillows. This was quite...

"D12 treetops at Clarach bay is a lovely setting. Family friendly and lovely staff. We had hot water and good recycling facilities. The site was perfect. However, some of our bedcovers had chocolate on them!!! We found spares to use instead. The green headboard on the main bedroom had a strong smell of unwashed hair ( it seriously needs to be replaced). We had no WiFi and on enquiring we were informed the previous guests had used it up? Riverside Cottage, Abergwynant (sleeps up to 3) - don't forget your binoculars!

10/10 Excellent

"Cottage was fantastic, clean, tidy and everything you could want. Location was perfect with the river and walks and trails. Any query that I had was answered promptly. All in all I would highly recommend and if I get chance to visit the area again this is where I would want to stay."

Penrhos Park

8/10 Good

"Great location, good amenities, swimming pool. Games room with pool table and couple of claw machines which kids loved. Rooms very dated but clean, beds/ pillows not very comfortable but bathroom had been refurbished which was nice. Pool was warm, changing rooms very basic and needed money for hair dryer. Need to bring own towels for pool."

gwesTY Guest House

8/10 Good

"This is a quirky place just off the promenade ,there are no staff at reception but an envelope with all details and actual keys to your room and front door.We could see the sea from the bay window and had a shared bathroom ,there are rooms with en suite but fully booked for our stay. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of vegan and vegetarian options, two cheerful girls cooking,no sign of the owners but it all worked smoothly ,also the eggs are from a local farm."
