"The hotel is old but offers excellent value for money. Breakfast is really good and the staff are welcoming and helpful. Located on a bus route between Aviemore and Grantown so plenty of opportunities for walking or just visiting local facilities."

"3 families had a very good week at Langrick: Positive - ideally located; very spacious for the number; very comfortable - beds, sofas etc.; good facilities ie Dishwasher; Freezer; 2 Fridges; excellent Showers with instant hot water for all; Warm and comfortable with the log burners. Negative - access and entrance gates really need attention, tricky getting vehicles in and out - safely and undamaged . TV in smaller lounge area inop. Minor electrical issues need attention ie right side main bedroom bedside light inop. All in all very good value for money"

"This was a lovely house had all that was required for a family holiday. No issues whatsoever with the property. I would have been a higher rating but the property is managed by Interhome and I really had problems getting hold of them. When I did get hold of them communication was in German and I was charged for payment in Euros."

"We stayed in 3 rentals while in Scotland and this was ours (and kids) favorite spot! There were 10 of us (4 kids / 6 adults) in 5 bedrooms (perfect!). So much for kids to do at the house that they often wanted to stay at the house instead of head out for sightseeing! The house was so close to things to do, easy parking for our 3 cars, and we could easily make yummy home meals too! (So many plates, and children’s plates and utensils too!). Bathrooms were numerous, this had a dishwasher, washing machine AND a dryer! Showers had great pressure… ruined us for our other rentals ;) We would rent again for sure… our grand children are already asking about the trampoline! Thank you!!!"

"We had a magnificent stay at Forest Trail Lodge from 18/5/26 - 25/5/26. The lodge was immaculate on arrival and everything perfect for ourselves my son and daghter-in-law and 18 month old grandson. I could not fault anything from the design of the lodge,the comfort of the beds and couches,and the range of kitchen crockery and utensils. The range of wild birds and a red squirrel delighted us all especially grandson Liam and I would recommend getting a bag of wild birdfood early in the stay to get as much benefit as possible. All in all a great week and we hope to return next year."

"Fabulous home in beautiful, quiet surroundings. Ideal base to explore Cairngorm National Park.5 minute walk to restaurant/bar/local shops. Great local walks if you don't want to go drive. Very close to Loch Garten and the Osprey Centre.Close to Aviemore, Loch Morlich and Cairngorm Ski Centre or head north to follow the Whisky Trail - all within an easy drive. The house is modern, spacious and well equipped. Would definitely book again when next visiting Speyside."
