“We had a nice stay for four days in Calavi. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The a/c worked well and there was a small fridge in the room where we kept water. We enjoyed the breakfast each morning. If we return to Calavi, we would be happy to stay there again.”

“Taxi driver got very lost trying to find the hotel in the dark when we arrived. PLEASE put a sign on the main road & on the hotel door to help people find it. Breakfast wasn't served until 9am so we were unable to take it as we were on a work trip. Please consider travellers who are travelling for work and need to get to meetings by 9am so cannot wait for a late breakfast.”

“The property was not in great shape. Tile missing around the toilet, AC unit didn't have a working display and had missing blades, overall sense of that the place was old and not well maintained. Front desk was also really confused about me having prepaid on Hotels.com and held us up from leaving because of this, even though I told them at check-in time. There was a mini-fridge, at least, and the location is reasonably good”

“There are no restaurants nearby, so you can only eat at the resort. There is no wifi in the room. The staff's attitude is average and the efficiency is very low! There is nothing to do every day. The sea here is not very clean, and the waves are very big, which is not suitable for snorkeling and swimming. Pay attention to the big waves and safety. It costs 50,000 to call a taxi to Cotonou Hotel, but it only costs 20,000 to find a car yourself. You can consider it yourself, and the hotel staff……

Breakfast was very filling, we were offered eggs, an assortment of bread, salad, fruit, juice, tea and coffee. The kids enjoyed the pool and the games out on the terrace. “I booked for a senior suite. I was placed in a junior suite because even though I had already paid they double booked it and gave it to someone else. I was upset, but they said I’ll be refunded for the difference. I reached out several time to the property, to Expedia and they weren’t able to help. Even tho I was given a receipt with the amount to be refunded. Now I am filling a claim with my bank. Additionally, the food was terrible, they only have one iron on the entire property which I needed……

“I came in town and was treated like a king by the hotel. They picked us from airport and the hotel taxi took us everywhere we wanted to go. We will be back to stay next money ”
