“What a beautifully unique place to stay! We were in the Gamekeeper's bothy and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was clean and spacious and the wood stove kept us plenty warm! We never saw any red squirrels but I did see a beautiful jay that was so different from the blue jays we have in the US. I would stay here again in a minute!”

It was peaceful, quiet, perfect for my early morning yoga—followed by a delightful and filling homemade breakfast—a couple hours walking, then plenty of uninterrupted time to put pen to paper. “What a great host Angela was. We felt welcomed from the time we arrived. Our room was very clean and everything that was promised. The cliff trail was stunning and most needed after a long drive. The only issue I had was a lack of hot water when I showered. However, after breakfast it was fine.”

“We had a lovely time at the Glen Clova hotel, it's set in beautiful scenery and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The food was very tasty and our room was very quiet. Only thing I would ask for is mineral water in the room because both taps in the bathroom were running warm water so we couldn't pour a glass from there.”
