Bad hotel

We did not stay at this hotel,very bad when we went to check in,room was terrible with mold in the bathroom so we left the hotel & checked in ti different hotel

Nice location, quiet and good breakfast

Thr staff was super nice. We had a bus arriving at 2am in Abu road and they arranged a pick up service and all worked out perfectly our room was quiet and lively view to the gardens. Breakfast was included and you could orden anything you wanted from menu

Horrible, never go there

It was a terrible experience staying at Hotel Sunset Inn at Mount Abu. The staff is extremely impolite and rude and seems like have no experience or training about how to deal with guests. For example, when we reserved our rooms via hotels.com, we confirmed that it includes complimentary breakfast at the hotel. But once we got there, the hotel people flatly refused that inspite of the fact that we showed them our confirmation from hotels.com. They did not have the courtesy to honor the confirmation. Also, the condition of the hotel is really poor and the staff hardly makes any effort to make your stay pleasant. For example, right outside of most of the hotel rooms, there is some vacant space with chairs, tables and people are allowed to bring their own food and have dinner etc on this area. But it makes the life of the people in the room very uncomfortable as it get very noisy when there are tons of people gathered right outside your doorstep. We could not sleep until very late when all these people got tired and left for their rooms. Overall, a horrible place and rude staff, you should stay out of there.

Sunset Inn

We rated this hotel as disappointing solely because of the restaurant there. On our last morning they took an hour to serve us toast and tea when we were clearly in a hurry and were the only customers. There were no warnings that they were out of anything and there appeared to be plenty of staff around, although it was early in the morning. The hotel itself is quite old, but they have made an effort to maintain it cleanly. We were there in winter, it was cold and the staff brought extra heaters into the rooms without being asked. The hotel is close to sunset point, which was a nice way to end the day.
