A Warm Haven in Accra - Yenas Nest Bed & Breakfast
I had a delightful stay at Yenas Nest Bed and Breakfast in Accra. The exclusive, secure, serene neighborhood set the stage for a memorable experience. The B&B, owned by an adorable couple, exceeded expectations. Their three daughters, home for Christmas, added warmth.
A heartwarming incident showcased their hospitality. Despite arriving too early, a family from Monrovia was warmly welcomed—the youngest daughter connected with visiting children, displaying genuine warmth.
The two-story house is spacious and clean, offering guestrooms with en suite facilities, including a a full bathroom, and desk that would suit writers. Yenas Nest's standout is the family's dedication. Despite a reservation hiccup with Hotels.com, the hosts swiftly assisted, ensuring a seamless refund as I settled my bill.
Beyond excellent facilities, I sensed their genuine enjoyment in caring for guests. Sitting under the shade, sipping tea, I chatted with my male host, a retired senior police officer and pharmacist.
In an unexpected act of kindness, the female host drove me to the airport when my Uber was delayed, showcasing genuine care. To the owners, caring for people is not a chore; it is a calling. It is difficult to stay at this facility without coming out impressed.
My only regret is not planning a longer stay. Yenas Nest is a true gem in Accra, offering an experience of warmth, kindness, and a profound sense of belonging. I wholeheartedly recommend it!
