"Property very tastefully furnished, friendly hosts (who speak very little English). OK for 2 people, would be a bit tight for 4. Major issues with swimming pool (out of action for 5 of our 14 days), with water pressure (20 mins for shower to warm up and then only a dribble), extremely loud and frequently barking dog. Although located in a side street it is adjacent to a major road - plenty of traffic noise during the day. Location convenient for Etna and the sites on the east side of the island."

"We had a wonderful stay! The apartment is beautifully decorated and very clean. It is located at the end of a dead end street so plenty of easy parking. I would recommend having a car for this apartment. We had a tremendous thunderstorm on our first night and had a very short blackout. Unbelievably our host came over through the downpour to make sure we were ok. There is a large grocery store about 5 minutes away to pick up supplies. "We loved staying in little Blue 54. Great place with stunning views of Mt. Etna from the rooftop terrace and peaceful water views as we sipped coffee.
