「We were looking for a quiet getaway and found it! The house is updated, immaculate and fully appointed. It is well laid out with very comfortable furniture. There is a deck with a forest and a pond in the backyard, and a short walk through the forest to a creek. Very peaceful, with things to do in the area.」

Only suggestion would be to trim the trees that block the view of the Hudson … if they are on the property. We visited in the Spring when the leaves were on the trees. The.view of the Hudson might be fine in Winter.」

The location couldn’t be better- we’d walk to the market and bakery everyday. We enjoyed cooking more than going out. Judy and Chelsea were attentive and easy to communicate with. We were able to really unplug and slow down, we had an absolutely wonderful stay.」

「Our family of 3 had a fantastic time staying at Laurie’s cabin. It was clean, spacious, and the setting is gorgeous. Hanging around the fire pit was a definite highlight for us. The cottage is thoughtfully decorated (lots of hooks!) and had everything we needed for our stay. Laurie was a wonderful host, she went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, had great recs for hikes and dining and even made sure we knew about a local fireworks show!
