Lake house on Allatoona.
This lake house was the perfect area to have fun with grandkids on lake allatoona. Own was very pleasant. Beautiful house and well equipped. Will definitely come again.

We had the best time! The house was very clean and had everything we could have ever needed for our stay. Bed was so comfortable!! Great location and very quiet neighborhood. John is the most responsive and best host I’ve ever worked with. He worked with us and was super understanding when VRBO was having some technical difficulties. Thank you, John!!

Enjoyed our stay! Plenty of room for our family to sleep comfortably. Kitchen very well stocked. Loved the short walk to the lake/dock. Extra bonus was the large enclosed patio on the back of the house.

Weekend getaway
The house was beautiful. I wish I could’ve stayed during warmer weather to take advantage of all this home has to offer. The check in process was simple and John was very quick and kind make sure every need was taken care of. I would stay here again and again.

Cozy lake house
We travel a lot for sports and have been splitting house costs amongst friends instead of hotels. So every trip we look for little place that we can fellowship and hang out and make memories. This was one of our favorites. I only wish that we had more time. We only got to see the lake late at night but it was beautiful. I would love to return with my boat and really get to enjoy the area.

Fantastic vacation experience!
Comfortable and fun stay for grandparent, adult children/spouses and grandkids. Our host was very responsive and helpful with all questions (there weren’t many as he covered Check-in, checkout, amenities, suggestions for boat rental etc) before we arrived. The house was spacious and well stocked and the dock was highlight of our trip. We will definitely be looking into returning next summer for another great family get together!

Amazing stay
We stayed here while my son was playing at a tournament at Lakepoint sports complex. It was the absolute perfect location. Last year when we played at LakePoint, we were stuck down closer to the city of Atlanta in a hotel room and this was 1000 times better. We were only 11 minutes to the field. We never had to deal with traffic. The house had plenty of room, more than enough sleeping space for the six of us. The dock was on a very peaceful location of the lake. The water is super warm and the kids were able to just jump off the dock and swim. There was a nice raft tied up to the dock that the kids floated on. We used the JetSki’s which were super fun to take on the lake. We ended up meeting the owner and his kids and they were super nice, quick to respond with questions and overall very helpful. I love it when a property is managed by the owner rather than a property manager because the owner care so much more. Plus this owner lives nearby so he’s around if you need some thing. The walk to the dock is long as the owner describes in the listing. It would be challenging for someone who is mobility impaired, but for us it was good exercise, and we didn’t mind it at all. One of our funnest trips ever!

Wonderful vacation spot
Overall we loved our experience! The house was wonderful!!! Plenty of sleeping space, common area to spend time together and parking! The lake/dock was great but the walk if you have a lot of stuff is a little tough and that is just because half of it is along a path in the woods that coming back is up hill so a bit of a pain when pulling a wagon full of stuff or carrying things. The dock was in a quiet no wake area that was GREAT on the weekdays but on the weekend, there were a large number of boats coming through to where it was hard to let the kids swim due to continuous traffic and waves the majority of the day. Overall, it was great and we would recommend this vacation home!

Great house! Would book again.
Owner was very easy to work with and property is well maintained. We had 9 traveling with us and had plenty of space. As others have mentioned, dock is a short walk from the house, but an enjoyable one. Property owner has kayaks available for use that our kids took advantage of. My kids are already asking to come back. Would definitely stay here again!

House has everything you need. Very spacious and can sleep 10 very comfortably.
This is a great place if you are looking for an experience at the lake. The lake is a 5 minute walk but they provide a pull cart to take your things to the lake. Dock is located in a perfect quiet location for using the kayaks. The house provides everything you need and very spacious. The host responded immediately with any request we had. Would definitely recommend this house for families wanting a lake experience.

Family memories
We had a wonderful stay. Big thanks to John. Always easy to communicate with. We've stayed on the lake several times and have made great memories with our family. We always stay at one of John's properties because he is such a great host. Any issue, if any, is always resolved in a timely manner. John goes above and beyond to make sure we are satisfied and our stay is great. The house and lake are nice, but John is what makes the property great. We can't wait until next time!

Great Stay... The host John was Great
Great please to stay with multiple families... we shared place to attend a baseball tournament at Lakepoint(15 min away) and the beds/rooms worked out great for our party. We did rent the boat and had a great time... John (host) walked us through everything needed to run the boat. All the toys (skis, surf boards, tubes, etc.) were there and ready to use. The dock is a 5 minute walk across the street from the house and we went swimming each day. Overall... a great place to spend the week. Thank you John... you were always available to explain anything. Have a great rest of your summer... we already let some teammates know about your place for next summer. Take care!

Clean & Convenient
Loved our stay, just wish we could’ve enjoyed the lake more. The lake is a bit of a walk from the house but not too bad once you know where you’re going. We were there for baseball, very convenient trip to LakePoint Sports Complex. The property manager was very attentive and helped us figure out the AC unit when it wasn’t cooling off enough. We’d definitely like to visit again!

Perfect family vacation.
Could not have asked for a better location, house or people! The street is so quite and peaceful. The house has everything you could want/need and more. Took my three children, husband and both our sets of parents and had plenty or room! The owner is amazing to work with and stays on top of anything you need. Before we left we all decided (especially my kids) that we will be going back again!

Close to, but not on the lake.
We travel a lot and this home was one of the best stocked homes we have ever stayed in. Plenty of extra blankets and linen. Plenty of silverware/cookware….. beds and pillows were very comfortable and clean. There was even an extra propane tank for the grill. We did think it was a short walk to the dock from the backyard and that is not correct. The property is not on the lake. To get to the lake you need to walk down the street about three houses and then down a trail, it’s just over a quarter mile walk. It’s not an awful walk but definitely not something you want to do multiple times a day with young kids. The owner was excellent at communicating but did stop by a few times, never inside the house, just on the property and had us move our car at one point to access their boat trailer. The first time didn’t bother me and he did call and ask permission first but repeated visits were a little irritating. It was a holiday weekend so maybe just a fluke. We rented the boat and had a blast tubing and taking sunset rides. The only complaint was the boat gas gauge was broken so it was a guessing game as to when to refuel. Overall it was a great vacation and we enjoyed our stay.

The perfect place for a late April trip.
Our group of 8 was impressed with the house as soon as we arrived. The appliances are all modern so we had no issue cooking. The house is cozy but also has ample space for indoor activities in the living room. The master bedroom is particularly beautiful. I don't think we could have asked for anything better for the same price. The dock is only a few minutes walk and our group made it out there almost every afternoon of our 4 day stay to bask in the perfect weather and clean air. John is a gracious and responsive host. He was contactable at a moments notice and very accommodating to a couple special requests we had. I would recommend this rental to anybody looking for a convenient enough location but also a comfortable and quiet one. Thanks John.

Great House
We really enjoyed our stay at The Lake House! The listing was accurate and the house was clean and ready for us. Check in was as easy as can be with a lock code provided from the host. The house sleeps 10 and worked very well for our family. We had 4 teenagers with us and they were able to bunk in the downstairs area that has 2 nicely sized bunk beds. This gave them their own space. We were very impressed with how well stocked the house was with cleaning supplies, laundry supplies, trash bags, etc. There is also an impressive collection of lake equipment provided—wakeboards, waterskis, tow rope, life jackets, fishing poles, kayaks, paddles. Pretty much everything you need to enjoy the dock and lake. The Lake was beautiful and there is a nice dock with chairs that you can relax on even if you don’t rent the boat. We did not rent the boat but it looks quite nice. We did a little fishing and kayaking. The lake is about a 5 minute walk from the house which was not a big deal. Our kids got a bit confused when walking back to the house by themselves. Make sure you know which trail to take. Communication from the host was outstanding. He was very responsive via text when we had some questions during our stay. Highly recommend this rental!!

Very Comfortable, Clean, Great Location for Events at The Butterfly Pavilion
Our family had a very pleasant stay in this clean, spacious, well-appointed home. Quality mattresses and bedding were so comfortable. The owner was very helpful and responded to questions in a timely manner. This is a great location for events at The Butterfly Pavilion; the house is less than 10 minutes from the wedding venue. The cold weather did not allow us to walk over to the lake but the house accommodations were perfect for family time and watching The Masters.

Nice getaway for our family
We really enjoyed staying here. We rented the property so that the kids could enjoy their spring break near Lake Allatoona. The house is clean, plenty of space, and nearby grocery stores and restaurants. Beds are comfy and the lake access is a really short walk from the house. It was a pleasant experience and we’d definitely consider renting from there again.

Home away from home
The Lake House felt like a home away from home. A quiet, scenic neighborhood that was perfect for daily runs with a view of the lake. I spent most of the day in the sunroom, which allowed me to work quietly and comfortably. My son enjoyed having the basement/gameroom to himself. My daughter enjoyed having the upstairs to herself, with her own bathroom. The master bedroom and bath on main level had everything my wife could wish for. And the large living room was perfect for family movies at night. We look forward to returning, especially when its warmer so we can enjoy the lake more.

We had a great week at The Lake House. We were in Georgia for training and the house met our needs very well. The house was very clean, the beds are super comfortable, plenty of towels/extra blankets. Of course it wasn’t a good time of year for lake recreation, but we did walk down to the dock/lake and it looked like it would be a lot of fun! The kitchen was also very well stocked. We will be back for next year’s training!

Wonderful Holiday Getaway!
We had a FANTASTIC stay at this property! My family and I absolutely loved our time there! We travel every year for the Christmas holiday and this home was the best stocked home that I think we've stayed in. They had everything that we could have possibly needed...from the kitchen, to the bathrooms to the bedrooms, we had everything necessary and more! When it came time to buy groceries (or anything else for that matter), we were close to everything we needed! Everyone we met (from neighbors to gas station clerks) were very nice and helpful. We even took a Christmas gift to Ashley who told us she was working on Christmas day at one of the nearby stores. And last but certainly not least, our host John; he was positively delightful! John answered all of our questions extremely fast! He always went above and beyond no matter what we needed. He was by far one of the top hosts that we've ever had. If you are thinking about renting this home, don't hesitate...do it now! You will be glad you did:)

Thanksgiving Weekend
This property is exactly as advertised. It is one of the best VRBO's I've rented. It is the owners lake house and is nicely furnished and well equipped with kitchen utensils and appliances. It is not on the lake, but only 1,800 foot walk to their dock. The area going to Colony Drive leaves a little to be desired, but Colony Drive is very nice. You'll be surprised.

The house is very roomy and had everything you need. It felt like home. We had a very relaxing stay. The only thing to note is the dock is farther than it seems and you have to go through someone else’s yard to get to it.

Great Rental
All of us (my wife and I, our daughter and son-in law) remarked "this looks like someone's house, not a rental." Very well cared for, and super comfortable, from the very nice beds to the great sitting areas. We especially enjoyed the well-equipped kitchen with high end range and stove. Will definitely return in the summertime.

Perfect location for a family gathering!
We had a family wedding and we wanted a place where the family could gather. We found this beautiful house, 10 minutes from the wedding venue, and it was perfect for us. We had 3 adult couples, one extra adult, one baby. Everyone had plenty of space and privacy. Lovely area, 5 minute walk to the owner’s pier on Lake Allatoona; nice neighborhood to walk in. Bonus: 2 big TV watching rooms (den and enclosed sunroom) for college football weekend! Very well stocked with paper products, kitchen equipment, extra fridge, washer/dryer, nice beds and linens. Owner was extremely responsive. Highly recommend!

So close yet we left the world behind
We don't live too far from the property and just wanted a quick "getaway from it all" with friends. Jackpot! We had plenty of room in the well stocked home and just q quick 5 minute walk to the lake, where we spent a lot of time with our son and his best firends. The home is situated on a quiet and quant little street and everyone we met was so friendly. We felt secluded and found the peace and quiet we were lookig for yet we were still close to everything we needed. A definite plus!

Perfect Family Getaway
We had the pleasure of renting The Craig Lake House at Allatoona Lake Aug5-11. My husband & I plus our son, 4 teen grandkids, 3yo grandson and mother in law all stayed. The home is very clean, modern and super comfortable. Plenty of room for everyone and all the beds were amazing! House is well stocked with everything! From housewares to bath towels to kitchen essentials it’s all there. We grilled out on the fabulous deck 5 out of 6 nights. Best part of whole trip is the ski boat & jet ski! Definitely made the vacation. John is so very kind, generous and truly wants your family to make everlasting memories. Communication is immediate and he answers all questions with detailed patience. There is a short hike through the woods to reach the dock but there is an alternative if hike isn’t doable. We definitely will return for another family getaway. Awesome place!

Wonderful stay
Communication is amazing and the owners genuinely care about the quality of your stay with an emphasis on enjoying their home. Highly recommend renting the boat and ski- The owners provide a thorough walk through of what to expect - again with an emphasis on enjoying the water safely. I can’t say enough good things about the care and quality of these owners which is so important in the VRBO community. Rent with confidence here. While this home was not the most extravagant place we have rented my family rated it as their favorite and we will be returning to this home. Pros: owners; home cleanliness; equipped kitchen; number and location of beds; GREAT internet; very large yard area which was perfect for throwing a football or kicking a soccer ball with family; nice deck with grill; the preparation of the home ie extra towels, spare propane tank- they have clearly worked to be plan for the little things that may happen on vaca; lastly the dock was super swimmable, and relaxing. Cons- the gnats on the walk to the dock are relentless and don’t care about you nor your feeling about them. Good luck. Thanks Jon and Jacqueline for a great vacation experience!
