"I was looking for a quiet place to hunker down outside of America, to be able to use an internet connection and get done with done. I found friends, a warm welcome, and so much laughter despite not speaking the same languages. I think my 3 week stay will be forever remembered as one of those transformative moments of my life. Note: the property is not in downtown Ulcinj but in a nearby town Donji Štoj. The house mailing address system is not quite compatible with Vrbo and so it shows as downtown...

"Lovely clean, quiet property. Due to travelling out of season, some local facilities were not available/ limited buses. A car would be useful but 2 clean beaches in walking distance. Attentive owners and excellent communication. "

"The room was much smaller and impossible for 3 people so I had to rent another room. During the stay we found on multiple occasions multiple cockroach and by day 9 we left the property by having a cockroach walking on my body. Get the place cleaned up and I am requesting a refund"

"Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this property. On arrival there was no one on location to receive us. There was no signage, and we had to rely on the profile pictures to know we were at the correct location. The building was shuttered close. Trying the door, it was locked and no one answered the bell. We tried calling the contact number but received only a voice message. "This property is very amazing and beautiful. They are not currently fully functional but seems to be getting ready for the summer season ahead. The property itself is very beautiful but is location is far from main hustle bustle spots so unless you have a car difficult to commute around. Even though they have been open for 2-3 years there seem to be minor issues with their operational processes which the staff is eager to resolve. Overall we had a very pleasant stay"

"Stayed for 1 night in February. Arrived to a huge empty car park and thought the hotel was closed! Friendly welcome in reception and was upgraded for free to the presidential apartment. Informed we were the only guests in the whole hotel. Room was lovely, 2 bathrooms and sea view. As it was off season we didn’t use pool or any other facilities as they were closed. Would return in summer if visiting Ulcinj in the future. "

We had to find gim at his hotel on the seafront for this though. The property is spacious and decently furnished, 6 can confortably sleep there. But there were sone problems: there were no cups, glasses of saucepans in the kitchen and the promised microwave did not exist. The AC unit dripp constantly and profusely, and there are 6 or seven parking spaces for the 8 flats, but some blocked others in, so we had to knock on our neighbour's doors a few timea before leaving. The town itself is a crazy holiday town with loads of identical restaurants and bars and a beach that is completely packed all day. Seafood was excelent at all of them. However, we found that visiting the beach about 5pm for a dip was very nice and there are lots of places to visit nearby, including the beautiful (emptyish) expanse of long beach about 20 mins away. There is also a very good supermarket (Idea) 5 mins walk from the property."
