「Only bad thing was I never got told they need a cash deposit 」

「The room was cooler than I would have liked, but not too cold. The temperature/fan control did not seem to work, neither did the radiator in the room.」

「Room very cold, no staff on site overnight, no food available (breakfast or dinner) we only stayed one night instead of two. The email received prior to arriving stated that breakfast and dinner would be available, staff dismissive regarding no food situation.」

「Location on the map is wrong. No emails received with instructions. WiFi not working. TV functioning but no connected to any aerial or Internet, so not working. No heating on when I arrived so the place was freezing, I understand you don't want to have the heating on all day, but still... And finally the toilet seat was already broken and falling off. I do not write bad reviews a lot, but I thought I should write one so other people know what to expect... 」

「The room and bathroom were tiny but clean. Extremely cold and I had no instructions for controlling the heat which was constantly on “standby”. Upon arrival I stood in pouring rain ringing entry bell with no response. A kind passer-by went inside the restaurant to alert them. A sign for hotel reception would have been helpful. Staff were friendly and I had great support when my suitcase padlock required cutting off! Nobody was around to assist with taking my suitcases downstairs on departure. 」

「We stayed in room 7, and went to bed at around 11.30pm. The room was so noisy from the bar area until around 1am. The room facilities were poor, lots of maintenance issues like no toilet roll holder, loose shelf, loose hook on back of door. The shower was luke warm and felt like needles. The window didn’t shut properly and the pillows were wafer thin. The bin hadn’t been emptied properly from previous guest there was a tooth pick in there!! For £180 per night there was a lot wrong with this...
