Mountain View Grand Resort & Spa

"This is an absolutely GRAND resort, complete with it's very own golf course, farm, axe throwing area, spa, pools and a beautiful front porch complete with rockers from which you can enjoy the beautiful breezes and a view to the golf course along with your cocktails and meals. Service is excellent in all areas, and demonstrates old world charm. Food in the dining room and in the bar was delicious, whether something as simple as a pizza, or as elegant as a delicate scallop and pasta dish. Desserts were delicious and not to be missed. This resort is quite large, and there are a lot of long hallways to reach the various sections. If you have mobility challenges, I would suggest requesting a room close to the elevator. Also, drop your luggage in front of the hotel before you park as it is a bit of a hike and some stairs to enter the lobby if you come in from the main parking lot. This hotel was a highlight of our journey through MA, VT and NH. I would highly recommend it if you want a resort filled with old world charm and elegance."

"There were 10 of us traveling together. Everyone loved this place. The staff was so friendly, helpful and so fast at bringing out our drinks or meals we ordered. The food was good. Especially the Rice Krispy treats!"

"Our stay at Joe’s cabin was amazing! The home had everything our family needed. Beds were comfortable, rooms all had working ac units and window fans, bathrooms were clean and supplied with basic tolietries, kitchen and house was well-equipped, and set in a beautiful, relaxing setting near the lake that made it easy to unwind and the kids had a blast kayaking and making smores at the fire pit in his yard. Joe was an exceptional host as well. He is very responsive, and genuinely invested in making our stay special. We made memories here that will last a lifetime, and our kids are already asking when we can come back. Highly recommend!"
North Country Lake House - Bear

"This was more than a lake view,they had a dock and I'm not sure if it was part of the app or not but they had no less than 8 personal water crafts and with a quick release signed, beach towels in the closet along with life jackets we were on the lake enjoying it. We enjoyed swimming, the tolerance for weeds was there and apparently the water drops of fairly quickly to get a decent swim in. There was really not a problem, but we asked the host to accommodate us in a way that would make our stay better and I am afraid they felt it was something they missed or neglected, and went far out of their way to accommodate. The think I liked was the quality of everything, the dishes we had were nice quality especially for a rental unit. We had our own dedicated fire pit, and grill. Great communication including a note about a dip in the common road. The place was great for us in the summer and would probably be alot of fun in the winter, especially taking a hike on the lake or even ice fishing. We'll worth the money when it came to getting on lake front."
