Warm, clean and very well set up. Multiple tea, coffee and breakfast options. Easy and pleasant walk to the Main Street. Highly recommend and would stay again if returning to McLaren Vale

Avocado farm stay

Conveniently located close to McLaren Vale township and local wineries and restaurants. Lovely views over McLaren Vale region from main sitting room. Very comfortable and fabulous welcome food pack. Highly recommended

Wonderful place in McLaren Vale

This is a perfect place to stay at while visiting McLaren Vale. Avocado Farm has a great view of the valley and is just far enough away from the centre to be nice and quiet but close enough that you can walk into town if you wanted to. The check in was super easy and everything was set up to enjoy our stay including having breakfast fixing available. Christine and Richard are wonderful hosts and very accommodating. Everything was also super clean and comfortable. Not only would we come back but we’d also recommend it to our family and friends.

Hidden Gem in the heart of McClaren Vale

This incredible cottage has the most incredible views of McClaren Vale. Close to everything the region has to offer, which is a LOT! Our hosts generously provided breakfast and chocolates, a lovely welcoming touch. We will be back!!

Beautiful views great position

Loved our stay here in Avocado Cottage. Positioned perfectly in the McLaren Vale wine area. Beautiful views. Could walk to the Main Street of McLaren Vale too. Generous breakfast supplies, clean, with everything we needed to relax and enjoy our two night stay. Thanks Christine and Robert.

Extremely nice few nights in beautiful McLaren Vale, made even nicer with a stay in Christine & Robert’s B&B. All the comforts of home & cleanliness is 100%, we enjoyed our short stay very much. We have stayed in Motels & other such like in this area when combining work with pleasure, but this has to be our “GO TO” from now on. The location is perfect for all the main road attractions plus surrounding wineries…can’t go wrong!

A lovely location with superb views in the heart of McLaren Vale

The accommodation is set on a hobby farm, and is adjacent to the warm & welcoming owners residence - it is spacious, set high on a hill & offers expansive views of Mclaren Vale. The owners kindly provided breakfast provisions of eggs, milk, bread/butter & orange juice in the fridge - which was a lovely touch, together with tea/coffee/sugar. The property is clean, private and included a very comfortable king size bed, a large modern kitchen with all appliances, and a lovely lounge/dining with flat screen tv. The only minor drawback is that the bathroom facilities while spotless & fully functional, are circa 1960's & in need of an update. There is a laundry with a washing machine, with access to a clothes-line for drying, and there is a carport attached to the house. The accommodation is 5 minutes drive from the vineyards, and is even closer to the local shopping centre. Overall - the nightly tariff offers very good value for travellers seeking the comforts of home at a fair price. We stayed for 2 nights & thoroughly enjoyed our stay & in the adjacent vineyards/restaurants.

Wonderful stay!

Lovely property in quiet location just outside McLaren Vale, thoughtfully stocked with all the little extras, very comfortable, beautiful views, lovely hosts and easy access to some great cellar doors. We would highly recommend.

Magnificent McLaren Vale

We had 3 nights at the Avocado Farm with our son & daughter in law. What a magnificent view, a short walk into town for coffee, shopping and pub. Christine was very welcoming, the house was very clean and beautifully presented, beds were comfy & cosy. Lots of goodies in the fridge & the kitchen was really well equipped. We’ll definitely be returning.
