“Reservation for Engin Otel but you check in next door at Extenso Hotel, which was never mentioned in the booking so I ended up hauling my luggage to a closed door before finding out where to check in. There was nothing posted on the door or anything, I had to call while I was there. Then the AC did not work ! I was told by the front desk that it was not time to turn on the AC in any part of the hotel even if it was summer and high 70s outside. I ended up opening the window just to get some……

“The air conditioning didn’t work at all. It was extremely hot in our room and the bedding looked very old . Our top blanket was soo small it barely covered the bed.”

“The room condition is good and clear with just enough facilities and provisions. The buffet breakfast is good. Close to metro station. If improvement is needed, the 2 things i suggest are: the bed is too soft and the air-conditioner temperature is difficult to control.”

“I experienced wonderful service at all the hotels I stayed in in Turkey- 5 over 8 nights - but the friendliness & service of the staff at the Renaissance surpassed everyone. We were welcomed warmly, and there was atmosphere of genuine helpfulness. The breakfasts & restaurant staff were amazing. I didn’t get their names but had personal help and conversation with Erkut, Basak, Sila, and Uleu who made my stay all the more pleasant. I enjoyed a swim in the spa each day plus sauna. “I do not believe they know the definition of a boutique hotel. Service: I traveled to Izmir to visit my customers in Manisa 4 times per year and I always staying at the different hotels. The staff in Met hotel are very need some on-job training, not mentioned that their English level is really hard to communicate. I cannot believe that I even had a fight with them during my stays. Breakfast - The food and atmosphere is decent but the lady served the breakfast is very nice.……
