Whatever you like to do in water/nature, you can find it at Happy Farm! We were two adults, two teens, plus our dog, and we enjoyed: bonfires and s'mores, jumping on the water trampoline, fishing off the pontoon--caught a bass!, ping-pong and foosball in the game barn, floating on the rafts, driving the golf cart, watching wildlife--frogs and hummingbirds, reading on the swinging daybed outside, watching the NBA playoffs at night on the nice flat screen, and talking to David and Rusty and learning about the history of the local town, Advance, "Papa Doc," and the farm.
One of the best things is everything is included! All we brought was some food, drinks, fishing stuff, beach towels, and sunscreen. It reminded me a little bit of summer camp as a kid--rustic but comfortable and inviting with lots to explore. A great, safe getaway!
