Such an amazing place!! If we lived closer we would definitely visit again and again! Loved the updated cozy room, the parlor, pool table, the grounds and pool and firepits! There is a great little creek walk at the backyard with Adirondacks and picnic tables by the creek. Super stay!

The best part of the inn for us was the pool, which we used in the evening and morning. Lovely, quiet, and all for ourselves. The room was also well appointed and quiet, even though it was right off the main road. The bed was super comfy. It was a perfect way to end our trip coming down Skyline Parkway from DC. The gas station right down the street had everything you might have been missing.

The property is a beautiful old home from 1800's. The grounds are well kept and the bathrooms are upgraded beautifully. There are fire pits for cooler weather. It was off season so the pool and hot tubs were not available. The game room is very fun and the parlor had some snacks and drinks.

Stayed here when they first opened a couple years ago. Definitely is starting to show some wear. The pool is definitely not half as inviting as it once was… in need of a new liner and the lounge chairs have no cushions anymore so they are definitely not half as comfortable as they used to be. The fire pits have no kindling or fire starter and with no staff on site you need to figure that out on your own. The rooms are very clean, mattress is very comfy and bathroom was beautifully updated. Just need someone to do some outdoor updating and maintenance for sure!

An elegant old house tastefully redeveloped, with large, comfortable and stylish rooms. Great location close to breweries, wineries and hiking and not far from Charlottesville. So, mostly good but the administrative and customer-service side could be better. We weren't sent the code for the front door and another couple we met weren't sent the code for their room. I received the checkout instructions after having already left the property.

We loved this property. It was just what we were looking for…. Charming, thoughtfully planned, well decorated with fun extras. The hot tub, nature trail, pool table and games added special touches that helped us relax and enjoy spending time together. We stayed in suite 2 which had everything we needed noises maker, coffee, chocolate. I felt welcomed and thought of. Would definitely come back.
