We had wanted to visit Carcassonne for a long time - the area, and the accommodation, were perfect, and we enjoyed interesting conversations with Richard, who also recommended an excellent restaurant ten minutes' walk away. The apartment is very quiet: all we could hear from the terrace in the evening was the river and water birds; but at the same time it is a short walk up to the mediaeval citadel in one direction, and……

“This huge apartment was so comfortable! Very clean, well maintained, updated and very well stocked. We didn't want for anything. The garden, facing the Aude river, was the most magical place to hang out: so many beautiful plants and those roses are divine. Location: a 5-minute walk to the center of Limoux for fresh croissants, restaurants, little shops. Our wonderful, kind hosts Michael and Anna provided insights on local shops, restaurants and sights to visit. We would certainly stay in this……
