The first impression was a bit odd, largely because the architecture is fairly cold from the outside and the reception area, while beautiful, cannot be characterized as inviting. "Over all it was a really nice place BUT There were too Many rules as to when and where you could eat. If without a car you had to rely on the very expensive restaurants in the hotel. Their convenience store had no sandwiches to get you through if you missed a meal schedule at the resort restaurant. Plus no room service. Also breakfast time got so crowded that you had to often wait 20 minutes or more to get seated. You really need a car to have a great time as I had to spend much money on taxis back and forth to places. Also they had no store providing medicine essential for medical problems one might expect in a tropical area. Also if you wanted a beach chair in the shade because you are sensitive to sun, you had to pay an extra 4000 yen for the chairs. Still, in spite of these conditions I would return again because the staff were very nice and I have a better idea of how to prepare."

"Uza Terrace was a fantastic resort. Having a private pool and the tranquility the property offers is top notch. I have never stayed at such a prestine resort and the staff is always readily available to help. I told my family I could live there."

"It is an older resort and was FILLED with kids everywhere. But the staff upgraded us to executive floor 12 and it was amazing and the room and views were excellent."

"If you are thinking of booking this hotel this is your sign to do it! Central location in Zamami(5 minutes walk to the port), clean rooms and the most friendly staff. From the moment you walk in to the hotel the staff greets you with the utmost respect. Although their english is very limited, they use translation tools to assist you in every way that they can. I had booked a 3 night stay and during the check-in process the front desk manager let me know that there was a incoming typhoon that could affect my last day on the island. He informed me to that the ferries would most likely cancel for me to go back to Naha. He graciously allowed me to change my booking to a 2 night stay with no extra charges. If I am ever back in Okinawa would definitely stay here again."
