Nice traditional hotel... recommended £60 or less
The overall status of the hotel is nice, we arrived quite later at 1:00am, but the housekeeping starts knocking doors from 9:30 all the way to 10:40 (about 4 times) to ask people to check out... they really did what their boss told...

Great hotel rooms food and staff BUT extensive and noisy building work until 5/6 pm. No advance notice of disruption or inconvenience but boards saying ‘please bear with US’ while refurbishment going on.

Absolutely lovely
Such a lovely cosy cottage, we had a super chilled out break with the dogs .the cottage had everything we needed .was very clean on our arrival. Access to walks ,penrith and carlisle was great .lovely peaceful little village. The village shop is well stocked .and the fox and pheasent is great for ...

A piece of heaven
A beautiful 4 day stay in a gorgeous location. Very relaxing with stunning scenery. Easy to book and excellent clear arrival details. The boathouse is so unique with care paid to every detail to make our stay so enjoyable. We will recommend to friends and family.
