"Staff were friendly and willing to help, but the room I stayed in had some odd stains that definitely soured my stay a bit. One looked like a bit of blood on the wall, and another stain in the bathroom looked like someone had just painted over someone’s booger on the wall near the toilet. Breakfast in the morning was great and the lobby was clean and well maintained. Pool and Ice Machines were unfortunately down and closed until further notice. Sound insulation isn’t the greatest since there was this Tan Cadillac Escalade blaring music at maximum volume at random points throughout our stay. We had earbuds to put in to block out the sound, and at least it didn’t happen at night. I’m being a little bit picky about that one as anyone has the freedom to do what they want, but for those seeking a quieter stay, this may throw you off."

"Unfortunately really noisy neighbors who were playing rap music very loud and shouting at each other at 2am. Advised front desk who spoke to them and noise/shouting started again a few minutes later. Advised front desk again but nothing changed. Complained again with same level of disruption at 5am. 7-8 people in next room, loud music, banging in walls, shouting, partying in the hallway. Hotel said they would comp parking and breakfast but no refund. I believe the offending guests should have been removed and rooms should not permit 7-8 guests."

"This hotel is conveniently located near downtown Iowa City and University of Iowa campus. The rooms were clean and light with lots of windows. Mini-refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave in room. The lobby is spacious with lots of seating options. They offer a great complimentary breakfast with a chef to make breakfast tacos, omelets etc. They had a yogurt bar, cereals, granola bars, bagels, breads, scrambled eggs, sausage, juice and coffee. Would stay here again."
