No one at reception on arrival (3:30pm) - had to wait for management other guests waiting as well. Room dusty and had to clean aircon filter as it was full of dust and wasn’t working properly. No top sheet on double bed so sleeping was uncomfortable.

Good budget motel.
The staff could not be more helpful. The room was a bit run down, but it was very clean and all of the amenities were provided. We would stay here again.

Very friendly accommodating staff. Let us park our motorcycles right in under the roof of there outdoor entertaining area, right beside the pool table. Nice clean rooms. More than adequate for a one night stay.

Great location and comfortable
Great location and nice rooms. It’s clean and spacious. I particularly liked the patio and the fact the rooms have a full sized fridge. It’s right next to the main drag and a 10 minute walk from the marina. I enjoyed my stay and would come back. The only minor annoyance is the lack of a receptionist at the desk 24/7. We arrived at 630 and had to check in ourselves. The receptionist is available via phone and can arrive within minutes if there are issues... she’s just not always at the desk

Convenient location and friendly reception person.
We arrived early and were allowed access to one of our rooms to shower and rest - while the other room was readied for us. The rooms were neat and exceptionally clean. The motel is very convenient to town - a brief walk downhill to the main street.

Amazing staff, but not worth the price.
The staff in this motel are outstanding. Really friendly and helpful. The location was also really close to all shops and restaurants, as well as the beaches and lagoon. Overall though, I did not think this was worth the price we paid for the stay. Being the holiday season, I understood that things are pricey, but there are certain things that I expect when paying top price for a room. There were no hand or face towels in the room. I went to reception and asked for them, which I received, but weirdly, these were never changed throughout our 4 night stay. The room was not as clean as I expected. The shower had not been cleaned (there was hair in it). The room was also a lot smaller than we expected. You also have to pay for pool towels.

Tired incompetent Owner/Mmanager
Didn't have king bed made as per Wotif Booking. Blamed me for not ticking 2 people to stay in Booking. Then claimed she was SICK so couldn't make up the Bed. It spiralled from there. Told my wife she wasn't supposed yo be in room. Lol. Don't make excuses for your laziness and incompetency.

Thank you for your review. Next time you make a booking online, make sure you enter correct number of guests! Suggest you book in advance - not last minute on day of arrival. Suggest you arrive earlier, when you said you would arrive - not at closing time. 2 King Single Beds, 1 Extra Long Single Bed, 1 Double Sofa bed were provided in the room setup! Some people find excuses to demand refunds, which you admitted to doing with previous bookings.

Comfortable, clean and convenient.
Airlie Beach Motor Lodge is handy to the main street of Airlie and, though our restaurant was at the other end of town, it gave us an opportunity to stretch the legs. I found the cleaner/freshener that had been used in the room too strong for my liking, though it improved after airing. The bed was very comfortable and the small verandah was perfect for watching the sun come up over the hills. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at the accomodation just after cyclone Debbie hit so difficult to rate accurately. The lady who runs the accomodation was lovely and was working hard to get everything cleaned up and sorted for guests. The pool was out of order due to cyclone. The beds were not good for families with kids who wish to put them together as they keep moving throughout the night due to wheels. Really good location as it was very central and the balcony view was nice.

We stayed on two occasions. Very helpful staff. Room was a good size with every thing you would need. They even let us leave our car when we went on an overnight trip.

Within walking distance to Main Street
A very clean & affordable motel within walking distance to the Main Street. The only down fall was the staff cleaning every morning before 8am. We stayed 4 nights & it happened every morning. Not ideal to be woken up by vacuum cleaners, pressure washers & banging especially on a Sunday. Other than that a fantastic place to stay with lovely owners!

Pleasant stay!
The motel is very close to Airlie Beach shopping centre. Rooms and bathrooms are big. Both rooms I stayed in had TV, microwave and a good size fridge and kitchen. Staff is very friendly and helpfull. Car park is also close and some rooms have a car space with easy acess.

Close to the centre of Airlie Beach but quiet
The owners of the property are so accomodating and helpful. The rooms were very comfortable and airy. It is close enough to the main strip of Airlie but far enough away to be quiet on a Saturday night. Would definitely stay there again. We could just walk down to breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Pleasant stopover in Airlie Beach
One night stay. Motel were very he!pful when we made an error with our booking. Lovely view from our room which, whi!e a bit cluttered was more than adequate and clean. We could access WiFi from our room. Pool was good to relax in after a warm journey. The walk down to the lagoon and the sea was not too long and, although steep, the return journey up the hill was fine.

Close to everything
Situated 2-3 min walk from main street, with all it's shops, restaurants & cafes. 10 - 15 min walk from ferry terminal for the Whitsunday Islands and Barrier Reef trips. Motel is up a short hill so may not suit everybody. Room comfortable, clean and of a reasonable size, with usual facilities. Small outdoor area with a pool table, seats, table & cooking facilities. Proprietor very welcoming & willing to give assistance in making your stay enjoyable, with a good knowledge of the area and assistance in booking trips, etc.

Excellent. Perfect customer service. Very flexible with leaving car while going for a 3-day tour. Worth staying on both sides of tour, plus walking distance to Abel Point where boats depart from. Very helpful and nice staff, especially the cleaner.

Great for a short stop over
We stayed here fornone night as a stop over before sailing the Whitsundays. Great for a few nights, kitchen Inc. Microwave and fridge meant you can prep you're own meals. The wifi didn't extend to our room wilhichbwas frustrating but for the price it did what we expected.
