"It was our first time to visit Aso and we had no idea where to stay. But coincidentally we found out this place and it was the highlight of our trip. The place is located in Minami Aso, southern part of Aso and features stargazing. They own a planetarium, private observatory and large garden to observe stars. "子ども2人と私の3人で利用させていただきました。一棟建ての宿をいろいろ泊まってきましたが、花hanaさんは設備が至れり尽くせりで大満足でした♪子どもがベッド派と畳派に分かれてるので、ベッドルームも和室も並んであって助かりました。暖炉も初めて使いましたが、チェックイン時に説明もありますが、詳しく書いた説明書もあったので、それを見つつ薪をくべたりしました。 宿までの道のりは道が狭いですが、肥後寿司さんの近くの筋から上に上がっていくのが一番近い道のようです。"

"The Fairfield by Marriott in Aso is a very comfortable hotel like the Fairfield in Nikko where my wife and I staid before. The rooms are clean, modern and with a lot of light coming in through a big window; comfortable enough that on a rainy day we decided to stay in the room almost all day. Personnel at the reception is very friendly and helpful.The restaurant selection in the area is not the greatest but there is a Lawson Station shop nearby. Additionally the hotel offers free coffee, tea etc. and sells some food items which can be heated in microwaves if necessary. The Fairfield is located near the local train station and has sufficient parking space if you come by car. "
