"The proximity to the beach was unbeatable. There was an abundance of recreational supplies provided, although the beach chairs could use some love. The residents were also incredibly friendly. The kitchen equipment was sparse, pans need to be replaced. Getting to and from BBQ area was a challenge. The lanai could use a table to eat at as there was no dining table (eat at counter was OK, but no view from there). Viewing whales (multiple almost every day)and seeing a monk seal was amazing."

"Hidden Gem!! This is our 2nd time staying at The Hawaiian Princess, first time in this unit. Great communication, easy contactless check-in and check-out with clear instructions. This unit is beautiful, updated, clean, well stocked with everything you may need...and the bed was so comfortable! Appreciate it had beach chairs, beach umbrella, boogie boards, even a cooler. It's amazing to be able to have a panoramic view and be on a beautiful beach at an affordable price. We even saw humpback whales and giant sea turtles every day. All the staff were helpful and friendly and we met many nice residents and guests. We always felt safe and secure. We hightly recommend doing the Ka-ena Point Hike (it's about 5 miles out & back, mostly flat) it's a nature reserve for Albatross (Nov-July I believe), amazing. We also recommend L&L Hawaiian BBQ, it's a couple miles away, doesn't look like much, take-out, but the BBQ chicken plate is great, we'd bring it back and have a sunset dinner! We didn't want our 9 day trip to end, we'd love to make this a yearly tradition, we hope to stay in this unit again. "

"The unit is in great condition. Being able to sit on the balcony and watch the whales swim by, then a quick elevator ride to the sand."

"Arrival details made getting in the condo very easy, even during the evening hours. Condo and parking is secure with a guard also on property. The owner contacted me upon arrival and was eager to help if needed. There was no reason for assistance. Condo has great views of the ocean and beach was great. We had a magnificent nine days."

"The unit is very much in disrepair! Doors missing from cupboards, filthy rug. Had to wash all the dishes as they didn’t seem clean. Took 3 days to get the tv working, my husband was not well when we got here so tv was all he could do. We were given some compensation, so that was appreciated. All in all a unit very much in need of an upgrade!!"
