“The hotel was beautiful and in a very convenient location just a short walk to the bus station and the ferry terminal. Our room was beautiful and the bed was comfortable. We had a small balcony which we enjoyed. The air conditioning, like most places in Europe, was not great...barely adequate. The rooftop terrace, pool and bar were a fabulous bonus with unobstructed views of Lake Garda! The daily alfresco breakfast was delicious with numerous choices and the breakfast staff kept everything well……

“Persolal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war renoviert und sehr sauber. Die Klimaanlage funktionierte leider nicht. Die Poolpflege ist ausbaufähig. (z.B. über mehrere Tage Sand im Whirlpool)”

“Nice location close to water and restaurants. In our room, the window opens directly into the hotels public terrace, so people on the terrace could look directly in…and could even climb in the room. This forced us to keep window closed and blinds pulled most of the time, which kind of defeats the purpose of the location. Everything else about the place is great, and I’m sure no other rooms have the same issue.”

“Das Zimmer war sauber und zweckmäßig, Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Gutes vielseitiges Frühstück. Auto konnte in einer Garage abgestellt werden. Seepromenade in 3 Minuten erreichbar.”

“The hotel is very nice, clean with pleasant and helpful staff. We are not as fit as we were and found the walk from the town centre and up the steep driveway a bit much. There is no local bus service and taxis can be difficult to get.”

“Property is closest to Garda town which is approx 2 miles away down winding roads with few pavements. We did walk back once but it’s a really steep incline and not recommended in peak heat or given vehicles using the road. We got around the lake by walking down, returning by taxi (€25 per trip), so bear this in mind if you do not hire a car. The apartments are not served by buses but getting around the lake is possible using buses (and boats obviously). We had a superior apartment which was very……

“Wir hatten einen super schönen Aufenthalt im Hotel Italia am Gardasee! Ein ganz großes Lob an Regina – so herzlich, freundlich und aufmerksam sind wir wirklich noch nie empfangen worden. Wir haben sogar noch ein kostenloses upgrade bekommen! Sie hat sich immer Zeit genommen und hatte für alles ein offenes Ohr – einfach großartig! Das Hotel ist sauber, das Frühstück lecker und die Lage top. ”
