"So this wasn't my first option as a place to stay but I am glad I ended up here. The staff is very helpful and will do anything to make your stay nice. It is not as modern and hotels closer to the main city, but when you are out in the forests of Lemur land, this is pretty good. I will definitely come back "

"The room was big with a seating area and it had a terrace. The beds was very comfortable. The dinner was very nice, the breakfast too (the take-away breakfast did not have the same standard) . The hotel had a swimming pool. There was only WiFi the reception. There was no heating possibilities in the room, and the room was cold (June). Tip: Visit Vakona and experience the lemurs come close. "

"Questo ecolodge è discretamente carino immerso nella natura e qui finiscono le cose positive da dire. Le camere sono molto umide e fredde non fornite di riscaldamento. L’acqua calda esce solo dalla doccia e non dal rubinetto quindi siate pronti ai -50° per lavare le mani. Il secondo giorno invece di lavarci il viso nel lavandino per il freddo ci siamo dovuti mettere sotto la doccia. Per non parlare dei buchi nella parete del bagno e la muffa sulle fughe della doccia. Purtroppo oltre ai problemi...

"The property had a lovely setting with nice grounds and a swimming pool. The staff were friendly and did their level best but sometimes the service was chaotic. A big group arrived and we received our soup starter 2 mins after the main course was served. Also the coffee was cold on at least three occasions. The showers were a mere trickle and the water was ofter cold. The staff were hospitable and the property was very reasonably priced."

"There is something very special about this place and the people working there. Our room was large, modern, surrounded by amazingly well-maintained flower gardens and grounds. Mark and the staff are incredibly accommodating and luckily for us spoke English. Fine food, outdoor dining, great tunes, terrific vistas, and incredible night walk to see birds and lemurs and chameleons and frogs and lizards, and the place is fantastic. Don’t by out off by the 5km of dirt road to get there, it’s totally worth it!"
