Home away from home

We regularly visit Son Bou and have stayed at various locations but this one by far was the best. We had a perfect view of the ocean and gorgeous sunsets each day and the apartment catered to all our needs. Will be returning for sure...

Great apartments and pool

Really good accommodation and well serviced. Views are amazing and good location. My only disappointment was over being quoted a €300 refundable deposit and then being asked for €100 0 on check in

Son Bou, muy tranquillo!

We visited Son Bou with little expectation but were really pleased that we chose this as our Menorca destination. The property was as advertised and the 3Villas team who managed it were superb throughout our stay. The pool area and sun loungers were great if the beach or exploring the island wasn't on the agenda. The near by supermarket and panderia were also super convenient with great product on hand. The beach and decent restaraunts were easily accessible. Also not spoilt for choice for car rental agencies in Son Bou but deffo recommend Alba at the nearby Valls agency who was super helpful.

Lovely place

Quiet season and great spot. Very chilled. Bit of a mission to get basic supplies as local supermarkets were all closed. Check-in process was confusing and messy.

The apartment is on quite a hill, which we didn’t really appreciate from the pictures. But the view was worth it. We did try and get early check in but there was confusion as to when you could request this and we weren’t able to get it- which was a shame as it was very hot! But we made good use of the pool as we waited. Facilities all good and has everything you need. It’s cleaned each week- perhaps more would have been good- but that was still good. Beds were not comfy but we all slept as so tried from all the activities!

Nice location and area as our first time there but sunset apartments looked tired and more like a Bedsit so could do with updating both outside by pool area and inside rooms. A/C non existent no cold air so very warm , check in ok but cleaners took longer than the 4pm stated check in. No sign of maintenance to tend the overgrown path areas and wobbly handrails up the steep steps or any fresh towels during our stay . Kitchen needs to be more useable and cooker hood a bad hazard with pointed corners , half of the kitchen plates and glasses etc are in a unit in the lounge and intencils in the kitchen ! A wall mounted cupboard would be more useful in one place . Far too much furniture for the space , I know it sleeps four but for the size of the place you are just swerving chairs at the table which blocks the kitchen and bathroom plus two big wicker chairs plus a two seater sofa. Mop and bucket just propped in the lounge !! It’s just not been thought out so unfortunately we wouldn’t stay again ..Resort info / folder would be very beneficial too in the apartment for first time visitors to look through regarding info on what’s in the area as apposed to on the VRBO app .

Not a great start, but got better

We think we were the first people of the season in this apartment. The amenities were not checked thoroughly. The a/c didn't work and the fridge hadn't reached its optimal temperature yet. The management company were good at attending to the issue of thr a/c, but it took over a day to resolve. This meant we didn't have a/c the first night and it made sleeping almost impossible. They did bring a fan, but this resulted in my friend ending up with an earache. The a/c was important to us and we passed over other properties that didn't have it. Management told us we could leave the key to the apartment for the contractors, but neither of us felt comfortable with that. As a result, we both spent hours looking for emergency accommodation we could move to in the event the a/c couldn't be fixed. Thr a/c was fixed, but it meant we ended up wasting almost 2 days of our trip. Not great when you're only there 5 nights. In the end, they refunded us 70 for the inconvenience. Just to say, the shower design is truly terrible. It is FAR too easy to have water leave the shower and flood the bathroom or the living area. As others have said, I do wish they had some basics in the kitchen (like oil for cooking). I also wish there was a better welcome pack. We were caught unaware that they only provided two rolls of toilet paper and that we were expected to provide the rest. The location was convenient for us as we rented a car and parking was always available.

Appartement sympa avec vue extraordinaire

Appartement agréable, à réserver pour la belle vue sur la magnifique plage de Son Bou et sa facilité d'accès. L'équipement est satisfaisant mais la vaisselle est un peu juste en quantité. La climatisation est peu efficace car malgré sa mise en route il faisait trop chaud surtout la nuit. Enfin nous avons été agacés par la difficulté à faire le check-in en ligne sur un site qui marchait mal (obligatoire alors que ce n'était pas précisé lors de la réservation) et le paiement de la caution demandée 3 fois plus élevée que celle prévue à la réservation (mais que nous avons fait corriger) et qui a donné lieu à des frais de 25€ non prévus !
