  • Villa Sardenha is a charming traditional Algarve holiday home, ideal for families seeking tranquility, privacy and a pleasant rural setting.



    The living and dining area is bright and welcoming, creating a comfortable space for relaxing and social moments, with direct access to the outdoor areas of the property.



    The villa features two twin bedrooms, both en suite with shower, and one double bedroom en suite with bathtub, ensuring comfort and privacy for all guests. There is also an additional guest bathroom.



    The kitchen is fully equipped and offers direct access to an outdoor area, providing a practical and functional space during the stay.



    Outside, the property offers a private swimming pool, lawned areas and a pleasant outdoor dining space with a barbecue, ideal for enjoying relaxed family meals while taking in the countryside views.



    Located in a quiet rural area between Guia and Galé, the villa is very close to beautiful beaches, restaurants, shops and the lively atmosphere of Albufeira.



    The property is equipped with a modern security alarm system. Image capture is an integrated feature of the alarm system and is only activated if the alarm is switched on and triggered in response to a potential intrusion.



    The changeover day for this property is Saturday (however, there may be flexibility in low season).

    If your flights are already booked or your dates are fixed and do not match the property's changeover day, please send us an enquiry before booking to confirm if your dates can be accommodated.



    This property is self-catered. For your convenience, welcome food baskets can be booked in advance (additional cost).



    Renting a car is not essential for your stay, given the property’s location. However, if you wish, we will be happy to assist with the car hire. We can also arrange transfers if needed.



    Group deposit: € 150 per guest (payment by credit/debit card).

Exceptional

We had a fantastic break! This is the nicest villa, surrounded by countryside with wonderful views. Immaculately clean and presentable on arrival both inside and out. The agent was really welcoming, explained all the facilities to us, and was readily available by phone call whenever we needed. Great shopping in the Algarve shopping centre nearby if you feel the need to leave the comfort of the villa. All in all, we had a really peaceful, get away from it all week, and can thoroughly recommend a visit!

Great time

My partner and I recently stayed at this property, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was exactly as described, was plenty spacious and had more than enough facilities. The pool however was constantly freezing cold and took a while to acclimatise to, and that was in 25°C weather, so that’s something to keep in mind. Also, the property was at least a 10 minute Uber or taxi to the old town and the new town which is another factor to keep in mind. Also, the road you would have to travel along by foot in order to walk to these locations has no footpath for a large majority of it so is unsafe to walk to the old town, which causes taxis or Ubers to become a necessity, adding further cost to the holiday. Despite these minor details, the property was great value for the money we paid, with plenty of bathrooms, sun loungers, bedrooms and seating in general. Also, the wifi is a decent enough quality for the basics like social media or netflix and, for no extra cost, you cannot complain. Overall, this property is ideal for families wanting a more remote and relaxed retreat.

Lovely and relaxing experience

We had a great experience from start to finish and felt very comfortable throughout our stay. The peaceful setting made it an ideal place to unwind. Dining at the Algarbe restaurant was a wonderful way to end one of our evenings.

No privacy

Despite the fact that the house was good, with great conditions, there is another villa, just like this one, completely attached. So there's no privacy at all, considering that you see all your neighours right next to you.

My only issue was with the booking in process as when we arrived in Portugal, we had no Wi-Fi on any of our phones, therefore unable to download the ‘Boarding Pass’. This also made it difficult to contact the lady that was due to greet us at the villa & also finding the location of the villa.We ended up driving towards Albufeira, found a cafe with Wi-Fi & managed then to contact the lady due to greet us who then sent us a PIN location.But again, as soon as we left the cafe we lost the Wi-Fi.We eventually managed to find an area where we managed to get 5G, again then called her for information to get to the villa.Once we finally arrived at the villa, she quickly went through a handover but she didn’t have the Wi-Fi code either!!We had to wait until the following morning to contact the host to get the Wi-Fi code.Maybe as a suggestion the boarding pass details should be sent out earlier which would have eliminated most of these issues & a very stressful afternoon.However, the villa was amazing, the pool area fantastic, the villa was very clean & we will definitely return back again.
