「Wir waren zwei Wochen dort. Der Bungalow war etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber zweckmäßig eingerichtet und sauber. Vorhanden fūr den Anfang war nur Spülmittel und etwas Toilettenpapier. Wir sind dann erst mal einkaufen gefahren und haben meist nur dort gefrühstückt. Am Ort gibt es einige Lokale mit gutem Essen.」

「The accommodation was clean and well maintained. It was cleaned daily. The breakfast was adequate for the price but it’s easy to get better elsewhere. The main point to be aware of is the room itself. I booked what I thought was an apartment that would sleep up to 4 and have a kitchenette. What I got was a twin room with a bathroom and nothing else. I tried to query at reception but to no avail. Room was fine just not what I had planned」

「Location is perfectly situated in the old town, all spots are just a stone throw away. The apartment I stayed is a separate building but you can enjoy the breakfast and use the wet spa/ gym facilities at the main building. The room was spacious, clean and well-equipped - perfect for a family/couple longer stay. Lidia was extremely friendly and helpful throughout the booking process and my stay. I will definitely come back and recommend!」

「Pros: The location of the apartment for Altea town, beach amenities is perfect. The apartment was perfect with the bonus of seaview. The host goes above and beyond. I'd definitely recommend and return. Cons: The pool got busy between 11.30-14.00 with some children unsupervised and had a disregard for younger/older swimmers. Advised not to hire a large car as the parking space is a little tight.」

「Check in at a different hotel. We arrived at night and struggled to find the hotel. The lifts were farcical. We waited for ages every time we went to use them and they constantly stopped at most floors with no one waiting. They were all disgusting. The apartment had stains on the settee and one of the beds. No instructions how to use any of the things in the apartment. Minimal utensils in the kitchen eg one wine glass. Only on our final day did we find that the patio doors had shutters so...
