"Overall, the hotel looked nice. However, there was an unexpected issue on the night we checked in. The room initially assigned to us was already occupied by someone else. Thankfully, it didn’t lead to an awkward situation since the guests had locked the door from inside, so we were unable to enter with the room key. In addition, the breakfast could have been better."

"What is this place even? It’s technically a hotel, but I’m pretty sure I was the only person staying there — maybe one other guest at most. “Creepy” is honestly the best word for the experience. The front door closes and locks at 7pm, and no staff appear again until around 9am. Instead of guests being able to use a keycard at the main entrance, you have to go through a back parking lot, down a strange alley, and enter through the rear door. It felt unsafe and unnecessarily unsettling, especially at night. It’s odd that they haven’t figured out a better after-hours entrance system. The room itself was okay — a little grungy, but the bed was comfortable and the AC worked well. Still, I really didn’t want to leave the room once I was inside. The location is convenient and centrally located downtown, which is probably the biggest positive. But for such an interesting small city, Lafayette deserves much better accommodations than The Juliet. I’m genuinely glad to hear a new hotel is coming to town."

"House was historic but updated. It was very clean in a nice neighborhood. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were spacious.Very happy with the stay."

"This was the perfect site for Festival - a quiet getaway yet a quick and safe walk to all the action! It was clean, well-appointed, everything was in working order - I would definitely stay again - and might do so for Mardi Gras. Highly recommend."

"Quirky and unique"

"The company wouldn’t honor my reservation, made and paid for months in advance. They never cancelled, I checked in the day before, and was told my reservation was on. Then, the day of, the said they double booked, or made a mistake, and tried to sell me a different place for extra money. I had to book another room last minute. This company is disreputable. I would not rent a room from them. They contacted me to see if I’d made other arrangements, a day after my check in. They stink!!!!!"

"Decidedly average hotel booked by my Wife and I for the Lafayette Festival Louisianne. The best thing about the room was the shower due to its amazing water pressure. Otherwise, a few negatives to point out were: the fact that when the air conditioner kicked on it was very noisy, the fact that we could hear the flushing of toilets emanating from other rooms in the hotel, and the fact that our room situated on the 2nd floor facing the front of the hotel was not as sound proof as we would have liked. An example of the lack of sound proofing was the fact that we could hear some people outside our window talking late into the night (albeit the conversation was muffled). For the price of some $300/night"
