Weve been coming to the riveredge for about 25 years. We are disappointed that it hasn't been updated much if at all over the years. Our room was directly over the compressor on the bonnie castle side so sitting on our deck we couldn't hear each other talking. Beds uncomfortable. Staff is always nice.

The view is very beautiful, the bed was very comfy, room was clean, the staff are very nice, and the gift shop is well stocked. The only thing we didn’t like was the pool room had giant windows looking into the restaurant. So half of the restaurant could see you swimming while they’re eating. The place could also use some updating. Other than that it was a really nice stay.

Beautiful river edge views for an older facility. We were there for eclipse 2024.Rooms are a good size, quiet in the evenings. Dining room was decent. Pool is smallish with no change rooms. The property is well maintained but with dated decor. A good location for the area

The hotel itself is dated, with the last renovation in the early 90's, perhaps? It has been a while since I've stayed in a place with a land line in the bathroom. But everything is clean, the beds are very comfortable, and the staff is great. It's off season, so much of the town is in not open yet, but I'd stay at the Riveredge for future trips. The area is beautiful.
