Parking was a breeze. The staff was friendly and available. The elevator situation? Yikes, but it wouldn't stop me from staying here in the future. Honestly, considering how far we were from anything familiar, this was a good stay.

Parking garage is nice. Hotel is clean and conference center is adequate. Only thing is both elevators were not working when I stayed and a convention was in town. Had to go outside to the stairwell which was not convenient in the rain. The food menu could use an update but the wait/bar staff was friendly. All in all, it would have been your typical Holiday Inn if all the elevators would have been working. The pool area was in serious need of attention at the time of my stay.

I had to call maintenance every time the toilet needed flushing, standing there in a towel while a stranger works on the toilet. Also had homeless people hanging around the property making it uneasy to move around evening/night hours. Poor communication with staff.

Great space inside the rooms; they offer a mini refrigerator, a Keurig coffee maker, and a microwave, which is helpful, especially if you are there for several days. Comfortable bed. Hot breakfast at a reasonable price, I enjoyed the cage-free eggs. The front desk staff was pleasant. Ample parking. Hygiene is poor. The carpet in the hallways and the room is dirty and smelly. There were cockroaches in my room. The rooms could use a thorough cleaning and dusting. There were chip crumbs under the mattress. The shower cubicle flooded because the water was not draining fast enough. The elevator floor was nasty and sticky. Linen and towels are white and clean, just about the only clean things in the room.

This is my property of choice when visiting (Alexandria) and I have never had an issue until today. The bathroom conditions are unsatisfactory.. The shower door would not stay closed, the water did not drain properly out of the shower, the toilet did not flush. The lights to the headboard were unplugged and the cords were just thrown underneath the bed.. I had to plug my devices on the other side of the room. I was VERY dissatisfied in my experience.
