「I will happily admit that I booked this not really knowing anything about the property but we needed somewhere to stay that was inexpensive. We were visiting the area to see family. The accommodation on the website says shared bathrooms- not something we really wanted but nevertheless it turned out that we had a room with our own toilet and wash basin. 「This is a very well equipped, spacious property which was real pleasure to stay in. The garden is well maintained with good outside seating and a BBQ. It is centrally located in Ballater so easy to visit shops and restaurants on foot, close to the golf course and local walks in easy reach. Mark, the host was very welcoming and promptly answered queries. We would stay here again. Great place.」

「Our stay at the house was exactly as we hoped! We were able to explore all the areas we had planned to see within an hour or more drive of the house, and we thoroughly enjoyed visiting the lovely town of Aberlour. The house had everything we needed for our stay, and Eilidh was quick to respond to any messages we sent. Sitting in the backyard having our morning coffee had beautiful views. When we visit the area again in the future, we would absolutely stay here again.」

「The house is incredible. While the pics are great, the house exceeded our expectations. Very comfortable and clear throughout. The trail alongside the house leading to the Whisky Train, The Balvenie Distillery and Gledfiddich Distillery was used frequently! Its a peaceful way to travel on foot to avoid the road. The smattering of pamphlets and fliers for things to do in and around Dufftown was appreciated. Overall a wonderful place in an amazing location.」
