“The PortoBay Blue Ocean was a brilliant first hotel experience of the portugese Algarve for us. Buildings and rooms were in absolut great condition (the beach access outside the hotel area was a little tricky - a coordinating info of the reception during check-in could have helped). The garden area was very comfortable with great views over the ocean. “Short, 4 day solo break. Far exceeded my expectations - rooms, very large, all areas very clean, no outside noise. Breakfast was really good and included. Nice 'Quiet' pool and gardens along with main pool. Staff very professional, restaurant food was tasty and reasonably priced. Bar staff were really good. Were a few large groups of older males 35+ enjoying themselves, but they went to the 'Old Town' late evening so no problem - was World Cup/wedding season so no issues. Seems to also……
