Bijou Holiday House
Casa PiPa is just right for 2 people. Clean and well organised. It does sleep 4 but more suited for 2. Access to the door-less bathroom is through the bedroom so if you need privacy this isn't the place for 4 people.
Casa PiPa is pretty well equipped. When we arrived we were told the washing machine wasn't working and although the owner did a wash for us, it wasn't the convenience we would have hoped for. Please note there is no TV/DVD, despite this being advertised. It didn't matter to us, but future clients should be aware of this.
We enjoyed sitting around the pool area: watching birds of prey swoop by and observing a humming bird hawk-moth, reading our books. It's a great venue for anyone who wants to relax and recharge their batteries.
The pool, whilst good for cooling off isn't really for swimming: it is very small. It is no good for non swimmers as it is very deep. There isn't much space to walk around the pool to one of the sitting areas.
There is a lot of space to the side of the pool area; another area with table and chairs. But the space was disappointing, not particularly attractive and the pile of rotting oranges did nothing to enhance the view.
Casa PiPa is well placed for visiting other places. Ronda is impressive and just over an hour away, as is Marbella - the old town being surprisingly quiet and attractive. If you can cope with windy mountainous roads a visit to the ruins at 'Bobastro' are definitely worth a visit.
