First, I should say that not all of the problems we had were with this rental. Major flight delays & weather were to blame also. But, I do just want to make everyone aware that this entire resort property is not kept up like you see in pictures or they claim. It has a vacant & general ran down feel to it so, if your thinking about a vacation in Bimini I would think twice. And, whatever you do, DO NOT fly on Silver Airways if you do go. But, back to the unit, we missed checking in at the HOA office because of our delayed flight so after getting keys from security we walked into a dirty unit. Not very pleasant at all. The manager did respond immediately and sent someone over to clean & for that i was grateful but it was so late. The dryer in the unit doesn’t work very well so, she was done cleaning at 10 but had about two more hours of drying linens left. To keep her from staying with us until midnight with her 6 year old, I told her to leave and I finished drying everything and made all the beds up. There wasn’t a sheet set available for the pull out couch. The sofa is absolutely filthy dirty and needed a sheet or cover just to be able to sit on it. There are absolutely NO supplies available. We were left with half a roll of toilet paper in 1 bathroom and none in the other. I knew we would have to get some supplies for the stay once there but this was a little extreme. It isn’t easy to get anywhere so, getting to the store is an adventure. There were no paper towels, no cleaning agents for spot cleaning, nothing. The community pool wasn’t kept up well either, there was algae on sides and bottom & needed a good vacuum job. Definitely not a place I would recommend or return to.
