「This hotel is just amazing! The place is beautiful, the thermal pools and spa just wonderful and the restaurant’s quality and variety of food superb. We absolutely loved it! My kids had a blast and my husband and I could relax and enjoy after a day at the slopes. Can’t wait go be back there.」

「My kids and I were driving Germany and ended in Garmish for the night. I looked up a hotel with 3 beds for the night, under 200, and found this hotel. We got lucky. The hotel was fabulous. The kids wanted to stay longer. The service and ambiance was awesome. The shower was the best we had in over a week of floating around. I would stay here again in a minute.」

「Location is great! 5mins walk to the Zugspitze Bahnhof and 7-8mins walk to the main City Center with a lot of shops. Lidl is located just across the street with openings Mon-Sat 8-20hr. With a 5-10mins walk you can reach a lot of good restaurants. Very convenient. Hotel buffet breakfast is very nice with a lot of choices. The mountain view suite is enough big for 2 people and the room design is modern and new. The hot water is not stable though and the parking is expensive - the only two things...

「We really enjoyed our stay at Das Kaltschmid. The staff were very helpful and enthusiastic. The Seefeld area is scenic with lots going on. The breakfast at the hotel was the best we have had in our European trip thus far. The choices were plentiful and the food was very tasty. They even had an egg bar, where you could order eggs or omelettes to your preference. The place had a lot of character. 」
