“We have stayed at the Bluemont over the last 5 years at least once or twice a year. They have new management that started in January. On the website, it said free breakfast included, which wasn’t accurate, it was $10 per person. They did comp us once we brought this to our attention , but we had to pay $17 per day for 3 days in order to get the comp. Parking used to be free so this was a change as well not listed on the website. The front desk folks spent a great deal of time sitting at a……

“Only stay at this property as a last resort. One or two staff members attempted to be helpful and most were friendly, but they are set up to fail given the horrible conditions of the rooms. Hot, hunid. AC that can't drop the temp below 74. Shirts come out of the closet damp. 3 nights stayed and never received housekeeping, other than the day I specifically asked the desk clerk to have them come replace the towels on the floor used to mop up the water due to the shower door gaps. Just terrible.……

“Exceeding my expectations; location is amazing for quick access to restaurants, walking to walmart and few other stores. Spirits and more. Great customer service; breakfast is fresh with fruit every morning. Small but effective. I would definitely stay again. Staff is very friendly and professional.”

“Good location and close to numerous dining and shopping options. AC worked great! Dropped a star because the bathroom door in our room did not close properly. Not a big deal as it was just my husband and I in the room, but maybe something to get fixed before the next guest thinks it is a big deal.”
