highly recommend a stay here. close hikes, beautiful views, close to pretty much everything you want in a mountain stay. The property is beautiful and well maintained.
This is an absolutely beautiful property! Views were breathtaking. Big enough for everyone to have their space but still felt cozy. We had an amazing time and will most definitely stay here again!
If you’re looking for a peaceful mountain getaway, the Peaceful Valley Lodge is exactly what you need! Great host communication, wonderful accommodations with virtually every amenity you need. Would definitely stay again.
Wonderful, private cabin with amazing views of the Rockies.
We had a wonderful stay at the Peaceful Valley Lodge. The views were amazing, and the cabin was spotless. The furniture and beds were very comfortable, and the hot tub was a treat on chilly evenings. The kitchen was nicely stocked and we enjoyed many meals there. We would definitely stay here again. The location is great and very convenient to Breck.
Beautiful home nestled between trees becomes a relaxing haven of peace. We absolutely loved staying in such a beautiful area in Alma, Colorado. Wonderful host.
This cabin was amazing for our family get a way! We had so much fun with playing in the snow, family game nights, and so much more! Everyrhing you could ever need is at this beautiful cabin. The owners were very sweet and amazing! We will definitely be coming back in the spring time!
Stayed over a fall weekend with 4 adults and dogs, and it was such a great weekend. Communication with Marshea was easy. The house was clean, the views were even better than expected, the hot tub was perfect. We couldn’t have asked for a better weekend away from the city.
Stunning location, the views were incredible. We appreciate any place that lets us bring our most important family member, our fur baby. Beds were comfy and the hot tub was nice and hot. The host was very nice and fast to respond during a quick power outage due to rain. There are a lot of stairs, which could be an issue for some, but we had no problem. Great place to stay.
We came for a relaxing few days in a quiet mountain setting with beautiful views and that is exactly what we got. The kitchen was very well appointed and the entire home was cozy and welcoming. We wanted for nothing.
Five stars across the board. Lovely location. Lovely home. Amazing views and the hot tub was fantastic. The kitchen was functional to make a special birthday dinner. My kids LOVED the Christmas decorations. Close enough to FairPlay to be convenient but far enough out that we felt secluded and unplugged. We can’t wait to stay again. Thank you!
This was my Christmas present to my two teenage sons, since they did not need more stuff. Being from Texas, we do not get to see snow very often. We were NOT disappointed. The views were incredible, the snow was pure white and fluffy, and the accommodations were perfection. It was a great time to relax and make memories!
The house is close to many locations with fun things to do and you are away from high traffic areas. It's right next to the Montgomery Reservoir and Hoosier Pass with great hiking and amazing views. It is also very close to Breckenridge and Fairplay. The house is big and is supplied with many things you need. Communication with the owner is outstanding, she is very responsive to questions.
We LOVED this home. The owners thought of everything a family might need on a trip. They left written instructions throughout the house and were easy to communicate with. We enjoyed the views from the property and the quietness. The property is in a perfect location for viewing wildlife and a short drive to the nearby towns (Fairplay, Alma, and Breckenridge). Cell signal is limited in the area, so it’s truly an easy retreat from daily life.
This property was absolutely beautiful, the surrounding area was beautiful, and the owners have thought of every single thing you and your friends and family may need to have the best day possible. We stayed during Christmas and they even had to Christmas trees throughout the property with ornaments so that we could decorate it when we got there. We had so much fun, it was so relaxing, and we would definitely recommend this to anyone and definitely stay here again! Don’t bring anything but yourselves in your clothes… They have literally thought of everything! Kitchen was well stocked, they had games for the kids, they had books, and they even had sleds! Definitely worth visiting if you’re in this area.
We stayed a month to get out of the Texas heat! It is secluded and so quiet and pieceful. Nights are cool and you could open the window and let the coolness in. The cabin is unbelievably stocked with EVERYTHING you need. The beds are comfortable and the showers are delightful. The location is close to Alma, Fairplay znd Breckenridge. Several day trips to Royal Gorge. Cripple Creek and Leadville. There is fishing near by and fishing poles in the closet. The host was delightful and kept us up to date on everything. Thamk you for a wonderful
The cabin was nice, clean, and comfortable. Located ~20 min south of Breckinridge, and off the main rd a little ways, the cabin was nicely secluded (never noticed any neighbors or much traffic) but close to plenty of outdoor summer opportunities - we enjoyed white water rafting, hiking, and e-biking the rec path out of Breckinridge. There were enough condiments and cookware, and grill to cook meals. My wife noted they had a few of the very same kitchen gadgets we use at home and the master bed was very comfortable to sleep in. The hot tub was a nice touch for the end of the day. Thanks for sharing a nice cabin in such a beautiful part of the country!
We absolutely loved the location of this property! On our way to the property, we stopped in Breckenridge to eat lunch and spend the afternoon enjoying the mountain town. From there we headed to the lodge where check in was very easy. I was a little concerned about the roads and driveway from the description, but it was all very easy with our AWD vehicle. The house is cozy and well stocked. There was plenty of room for our family of 5 to spread out, and to gather for eating and playing games at the table. It would have been nice to have a little more seating in the upstairs family room by the stove while enjoying the views, but truly not a big deal. We loved how the house is very private and you can really enjoy the quiet of nature. We did some hiking and snowshoeing by Magnolia Mill just down the road. It was great to come back to the hot tub, make a meal in the kitchen, and just relax. We would definitely go back - it must be absolutely lovely in the summer, too!
This property was even nicer in person than in the pictures. The property is on a hillside which made sledding ( they had lots of sleds to use) so much fun! The whole property is private and off the main road. The teens went skiing at Breckenridge which is only like 20 min away. We all enjoyed the hot tub, especially with the snow falling. This home has some steep steps which would be hard for older people, but wasn’t any problem for our family. The main bed was really comfortable and it was great to have an en-suite attached to the main bedroom. The teens loved their privacy down the spiral stairs. Downstairs they had their own rooms, a sofa and big TV. We saw moose several times near the property. Communication with the owners was easy and they answered any questions with had very promptly. We loved the property and would highly recommend!
Marshea is an attentive hostess with a clean and comfortable home that is well stocked. She responded to messages and questions fairly quickly and was quick to address any concerns
The house is about a 20 minute drive from Breckenridge, so about the furthest limit we were willing to drive. We loved seeing the deer, birds and even a fox while we were there. We also loved the sounds of the stream nearby. Nice location, but gravel roads with a fairly steep driveway.
The house could use some minor upgrades. The air hockey table wouldnt stay on so we couldn't play. The sheets on the master bed were a little worn and nubby. Some of the bath towels smelled of mildew. A drawer front was missing in the kitchen. The grass around the house was knee high and overgrown so it brushed against you on the first stairs entering the house. All were minor things in a otherwise lovely home, but woth mentioning.
