Tsali Biking Trails for the outdoor enthusiast, and Fontana Lake which is a great spot for lake kayaking and SUP boarding. There are also plenty of areas around for hiking and fishing. In about a 20 minute drive you can be in downtown Bryson City, home of the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad, the Deep Creek Community entrance to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, and plenty of boutique shops, delicious restaurants, and local craft breweries.
