Harmels on the Taylor is a very nice resort. Unfortunately, we booked late so had a motel style room. We plan to go back and stay in one of their cabins. Breakfast was included and they have a fabulous dining room deck overlooking the Taylor River. We ate all our meals on that deck with our dog. The one thing that needs mentioning. They have a wonderful and happy staff. They were genuinely friendly, helpful that welcomed us in the door. Everybody in their store, office and dining room were very happy. If that is true, it speaks of a good ownership and good managers.

Great property! Highly suggest looking at all their options for here as some cabins are on the river. Planning to go back again!

Nice resort by the river. We stayed in the lodge which had a basketball court and hot tub next to it. We couldn’t get the WiFi or tv to work and the water pressure in the shower wasn’t great, but we enjoyed our stay. The included buffet breakfast in the morning was great. Would love to stay in one of the riverside cabins sometime.

Easy check in. Motel room a bit dated. Tv doesn’t work because there isn’t WiFi. But overal beautiful property and hope to stay in one of their cabins in the future. Great breakfast.
