Stunning colonial villa
What a remarkable villa. It is a family home from the 19th century that exudes history. A very pleasant and energetic place. The garden completes the stay. Incredibly beautiful with very old trees that create a microclimate with a cool temperature. Definitely recommended!

We hebben met 7 volwassenen genoten van het prachtige karakteristieke huis en de grote tuin met meerdere 'kamers' In het voorjaar was het een beetje koud, in de zomer is dit een ideale plek met veel schaduw. Het is niet midden in Almunecar gelegen, wel overal dichtbij. Manuel is een prettige host, heel

Agosto en Almuñécar
Una casa muy peculiar con un jardín fuera de lo normal. Manuel tiene el acierto de conservarla frente a otros sitios sin personalidad. Le faltaría una renovacion de la cocina, la ropa de cama y mesa y de algún mueble, pero la casa es cómoda. El jardín es grande, tropical, ideal para comer o cenar porque la temperatura es agradable. El anfitrión es encantador, educado y siempre dispuesto a echar una mano.

Casa Tropical en Almuñecar
Acabamos de llegar de una estancia de 7 dias en esta casa de Almuñecar. Se encuentra cerca del centro y tiene un jardín extraordinario. La casa cuenta con todos los servicios y Manuel, el propietario está en todos los detalles. Nos ha encantado la estancia para toda la familia. Muy recomendable.

This was great!
I read a review before renting this house. The review said that they loved it, but it might not be for everyone, I can agree. But those who doenst like this,have poor taste. I have been renting houses east of Malaga for 30 years, and this is among the best experiences. Pros and cons? well its not that easily accesible, they area is not fully developed. But any coniseur should know that this is also a pro. The house itself is wonderfull. Its Like living in a small piece of spanish history. I cannot imagine what the property would be worth if sold....its alot. But Manuel, the host, has chosen to keep it as is. I salute you. We picked bananas and avocadoes in the most fabulous garden ive ever seen. I cannot reccomend this enough. I could have rented a new house with a large pool for the same price, I am very happy that I didnt. I will be comming back for a very long time. Séjour très agréable avec hôte Manuel, très gentil
La maison est très grande, propre et reste fraiche toute la journée. Le jardin énorme est très agréable, surtout pour des enfants. Manuel a fait tout pour qu’on se sente à l’aise, et pour répondre immédiatement à toutes nos questions.

Superó todas nuestras expectativas
Estuvimos un grupo de siete amigos de la carrera durante una semana. Por las fotos pensábamos que iba a ser una casa modesta, sin muchas comodidades, pero que nos serviría para pasar unos días en la playa. Nada más lejos.
Se trata de una señorial casa del S. XIX perfectamente adaptada, con una cocina muy equipada y unas estancias realmente acogedoras. La parcela que la rodea es, sencillamente, impresionante. Desde la zona de cenador al mirador con unas espectaculares vistas del precioso pueblo de Almuñecar, el porche con su piscina (puede parecer algo pequeña en las fotos, pero siendo siete personas tampoco echamos en falta algo más grande) y toda la vegetación de la que dispone invitan a relajarse y disfrutar de unos sensacionales días de vacaciones. Ideal para grupos de amigos o familias
.
Quizá un aspecto en contra son las fotos de anuncio. En absoluto reflejan cómo es la casa, haciéndola parecer más pequeña y menos atractiva. También puede parecer que un verano en la provincia de Granada y una casa sin aire acondicionado son incompatibles. En absoluto. Toda la vegetación que rodea a la casa hace que se cree un microclima en el que por las noches incluso tuvimos que echar mano de una rebequita para la sobremesa de la cena.
Por otra parte, Manuel es un anfitrión de diez. Se mostró encantador, dando siempre rápida respuesta a cuantas dudas nos surgieron antes de tramitar el alquiler. Después, estuvo pendiente durante toda la estancia de nuestro máximo confort y de solucionar cuantas contingencias pudieran ocurrir.
En resumen, gracias a las instalaciones de la casa y al trato excelente de Manuel podemos sentir esta villa como un poquito nuestra y, Dios mediante, en el futuro, sin duda, volveremos.
