Genial

La casa excepcional, no le faltaba detalle, mejor que las fotos. La piscina muy grande. Leonor majísima, muy cordial y atenta. No le pongo las 5 estrellas por la ubicación, está en una urbanización en las afueras de Almuñécar y aunque se puede ir andando a la playa (10min) y al pueblo, había que pasar un pequeño tramo por la carretera y con niños se hacía un poco peligroso por los coches aparcados en el arcén.

February break

We stayed here for a month to escape the UK weather. Generally, even at this time of year, it was around 18 degrees. However, whenever the sun disappeared, it felt decidedly cool and we were glad of the wood fire in the kitchen during evenings. The house is just as described, clean, spacious (for us 4 adults plus baby), well equipped and about 10-15 mins walk from the town or seafront, though it is situated up a steep hill so guests need to be reasonably fit! The town itself is a real Spanish working town, not touristy, yet still has miles of stunning coastline and lots of eating places at very affordable prices. Leonor looked after us superbly, nothing was too much trouble and she responded very quickly when we needed her. In conclusion, a great place for a quiet winter break.

Perfect residence

The house was as beautiful as on the pictures, very clean and tidy and equipped wird everything needed. Leonor who managed everything was a wonderful Host, very friendly and helping. The communication was uncomplicated and she always responded quickly. All in all a great place to be. Unfortunately the pool was not accessible from 1st oct on but the first few days we used it. Really big enough for swimming, clean and very well looked after.

Nice house with a big swimming pool

Leonor the owner was brilliant and replies to all messages very quickly even though she did not speak English. She was also very helpful in booking transport to and from the airport. She could not have done any more. The house really is very nice and looks better than in the photos with everything you would need. The shared pool, although quite busy, was very big and was enjoyed by our children, who swam daily. Whilst the house is on the outskirts of Almunecar this wasn’t a problem for us but a car may be beneficial if you have mobility problems or a young family. Overall very nice.
