Barbican View- what a view!

Amazing property, cosy and quiet. Well equipped. Very generous welcome pack. Excellent location for exploring Alnwick and the Northumberland coast line. Excellent communication with the owner. Would recommend and would love stay again

Alnwick short break

Lovely accommodation, good position, excellent facities and amazing level of useful info before and at property . Very old property with some dust, only to be expected. Comfy bed and high level of equipment.

Good location and easy parking

Lovely little cottage. Had everything one needed, especially in the kitchen. Appliances easy to operate. Very comprehensive folder about the cottage and area. Appreciated the many suggestions. Nice courtyard garden, to enjoy the many goodies in the welcome back. Older, or people with mobility issues might find the three steps up to front door tricky. However, there are handrails.

A lovely well equipped, comfortable, and nicely decorated property in a great location for visits to Alnwick Castle (over the road), Lindisfarne, Bamburgh, Craster and Seahouses.

ventral bolthole in lovely Alnwick

we needed a small property near the cottages rented by the rest of the family; this was ideal, - newspapers & milk five minutes away, car almost outside the door, good tech, and plenty of hot water.

Excellent comfortable well-located property

A well equipped comfortable apartment, well located opposite the entrance to Alnwick Castle. The sitting out area at the back gets the sun for much of the day. Guest permit parking is available nearby and a place is usually free within 50 metres of the property. A large Morrisons supermarket and smaller Nisa are within walking distance. We would stay there again if we were visiting Northumberland in the future.

Delightful and interest base from which to explore this beautiful area

Very comfortable and well equipped flat with a welcome garden and easy parking. We loved being in the centre of Alnwick and an short walk to all of the main attractions. Alnwick made a good base to explore the beautiful coast and interesting towns and properties.

Home from home, ideally located

Superb property ideally located for exploring Northumberland. Ahead of arrival we received a very detailed and thorough information pack covering both the property and places to visit. We arrived to find a very generous welcome pack and a wonderful comfortable apartment with everything we needed for our holiday. The outside space was a bonus and we enjoyed sitting outside after a day exploring. The property is ideally located and a few minutes walk from the centre of Alnwick. It is also close to the coast with lots of beautiful beaches within 20 to 30 minutes by car. We would definitely recommend this property and would not hesitate to stay here again when we next visit Northumberland.

Stay in Alnwick - Barbican View

What a fabulous apartment Barbican View is. Brilliant location, easy parking just a few yards away, right next to Alnwick Castle and all the charm of Alnwick and the surrounding area close by. The apartment more than met our expectations, was clean and the lovely small touches that Lynn put in place were very much appreciated, as was the food hamper waiting on arrival. I can highly recommend!

Perfect place

Everything about the flat was perfect. It was very comfortable, clean, warm and beautifully finished. The position was ideal, being opposite the castle and within only a couple of minutes walk into the centre of Alnwick. The extra touches of a plate of hoemmade scone, jam and butter awaiting us on arrival and a very generous welcome box , were also very much appreciated. We will stay again.

A cosey apartment, convenient for shops , pubs ,restaurants and entertainment.

Lovely apartment , 11out of 10 for cleanliness. Comfy large bed, excellant shower and bath in large modern bathroom. Kitchen with everything one could wish for. Although not the easiest kitchen to work in if you love cooking as l do. Pretty Lounge with lovely window seat . The only thing we missed was a fire in the grate, even if it was a small electric one. Although the apartment was warm , after a wet walk it would be so lovely to look at warmth as well as feel it. Many Thanks Lynn
