Super clean. Short walk to the water. Had coffee! Super important for us. Hosts were very quick to answer any questions. Overall made our visit very calm and inviting. Would definitely stay there again.

Perfect place

We were in Alpena for a weekend of baseball. This was a great place to relax and recharge between games. Everything was neat and clean and Jennie was very helpful when he had a question.

Summer Reunion

Very pleased with accomodations, cleanliness, location, convenience, and provided items and instructions, etc., for guests. We (3 family adults) thoroughly enjoyed our stay, weather and closeness to town for some of our activities. Host was very communicative and accessible when needed (seldom) & we would certainly register for a future return visit!

Perfect for a family

The house was very clean and was a great location. It was adorably decorated, and made great use of a small space. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the house had lots of thoughtful details. We would gladly stay here again!

Great place in Alpena

Such a cute little house in a quiet neighborhood. A short walk down to the lake or to the downtown area. The property is well maintained and the host is very friendly and communicative. We had a lovely time!

Cozy & Comfortable

I was visiting the area on short notice for a funeral. Hotel rooms were in short supply. I found this nice home in a very convenient location. The home is in good condition, its kept very clean and everything was in good working order. The owner was very good with check-in / check-out information. Looks like it would be a great choice for a small family visiting the area.

Little House

This small property is located in a very quiet neighborhood. It was the perfect size for my husband and I. The home has beautiful wood work and finishes. A nice little one car garage, will be great in the winter. Our host provides many little extras which makes for a great stay.

Perfect End of Summer Stay

My family and I stayed at this location when we made our annual Summer vacation to Alpena. This rental was the perfect size for the four of us and was so cute! I loved all of the details from when the house was originally built (door knobs, wooden floors, archways). It was also very nice to have the updated amenities (bathroom, AC, ceiling fans, TV, internet, etc). We spent most of our time visiting family, but the home was perfect to come to at the end of the day or for a midday break. Our daughters loved having their own room with the trundle bed. They also loved the coloring books and puzzles that were available. The home is located close to the beach and downtown Alpena. We were there for Labor Day weekend and the neighborhood was very quiet and the traffic was almost non-existent. This is our second time renting with Handrich Properties and we plan to rent with them again! We had a change in our vacation and Jennie was able to accommodate us. We didn't need any assistance during our stay, but I am confident that the response would have been timely. Thank you again for hosting us!

Great Stay!

We really enjoyed our stay in Alpena. The house is located just a few blocks from the water, and a short walk to parks and downtown. Alpena has a very nice splash pad for the kids and a nice beach at Starlite Beach. The farmer’s market had some great produce and baked goods, too! Everything in the home was spotless! The kids toys, coloring books, crayons, beach toys, snack basket, etc provided by Jennie were a huge hit with my 1 year old.. we greatly appreciate the thoughtfulness! The upstairs room was the perfect set up for a ‘nursery’, which included a comfortable glider chair. The hosts also provide a pack n play! The air conditioner unit in the living room and box fans throughout the home were perfect for the hot days. I’d recommend this home to anyone visiting the area!

A Great Place To Stay!

Property manager does an amazing job! She is very helpful with great communication. My family had a great time staying here. Very comfortable, clean, organized, and the location is very good. We could not have asked for a better experience!

Awesome Stay!

We enjoyed our stay at this location! Was perfect for what we needed, good for the kids to play plenty of room for us. Enjoyed having the garage for water toys and the car. We enjoyed using the grill and being outside. Close to many locations in Alpena able to walk to downtown and the water. We will definitely stay again; Jennie was extremely accommodating and very helpful.
