Literally loved everything about this home and location! It had everything we wanted for a disconnected getaway. The views were amazing, it didn't matter what time of day it was. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and hope to be back soon

Perfect stay!

We absolutely loved everything about our stay here! The house was clean and beautiful, and the host was very responsive to any questions or issues we had. The property is also isolated enough to fully experience the starry nights! Would absolutely stay here again if we make a return visit to Big Bend.

Quiet and Peaceful Getaway

We were looking for a place that was dog friendly, quiet, and peaceful. The Getaway gave us all of that and more. The view from the porch and the night sky were awesome. The property managers were super responsive and accommodating. Truly a five star stay.

Lovely Getaway

Just needed a few days away and this was the perfect option. Quiet, remote, and peaceful. Owners provided plenty of water. All the amenities for cooking were available. nicely furnished.

Solitude and home base for sightseeing

Perfect break

After camping for a month, this property was a perfect spot for us to rest and regroup. It is completely private and well away from the crowds. As described, all purchases should be done prior to arriving. I want to give a shout out to the property managers. They were readily available, even on a weekend, and assisted us with a minor issue quickly and without complaint.

Beautiful skies

Perfect experience for our first visit to BBNP. We enjoyed the peace and beautiful sunrises. It was great to be able to bring our dogs. The porches were a great bonus.

Great getaway

Very nice place for friends and family to enjoy the wilderness. We arrived pretty late but thanks for the detailed map guide by the owners and google map (yes this place is on google maps and very accurate) but still take us some effort to locate this place. I strongly recommend arrive before sun sets it will be much more easier to find the property and enjoy the stunning view.Overall fantastic experience

Amazing property

We could not have been happier with our stay at your property. It was very clean and had absolutely everything we needed. Gave us a chance to unplug and unwind. Views were amazing and stargazing on the hammock was the highlight of our trip. We will definitely be coming back to stay!

Definitely a Home Away From Home!

We loved escaping San Antonio to come out to Terlingua and this home made it all that much better. It was so peaceful and had everything we needed. Every night we sat on the porch and enjoyed our wine. So relaxing and we loved how quiet the area is. Perfect place for stargazing!

Awesome views

Close enough to do Big Bend trips but it feels like you’re miles away from it all when you’re at the house. Hammock is a great feature for viewing the stars at night. A/C and everything advertised worked perfectly.

Beautiful & relaxing retreat

I cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay. My husband and I came here with our 2-year old and our 2 dogs. It was so beautiful and peaceful; it seriously revitalized my soul. To the landscape, to the beautiful night sky, to how well the home is maintained; it was just what we were looking for! I can't wait until we can visit again!

Extremely private dessert getaway with wildlife

We really enjoyed the front porch, very private, beautiful views and quiet. Watching lots of birds, and even javalina's came walking by. It was further away from Terlingua as we thought, based on the vrbo app, but worth it. Directions were clear, but written for driving from the north. However we drove from the south, since we stayed in Chisos first. We loved our stay a lot!
