Totally worth it and if you do secure a spot, you could save yourself from buying a car pass at Mt Hotham as they do free shuttle buses to the mountain, only 20 mins away! “It was so lovely and bright. Huge deck out front. A full kitchen with hidden fridge even a dish washer drawer. Beds were super comfortable and a tv in each room. Shower had no steps. Just walk in with a glass wall . Lovely big couches. Bit low though Loose pebbles and a slant made it hard for me to walk to steps. A cement pad directly in front of step would have been helpful. “We had everything we needed to complete the Snowy Alpine Trail at Stillwell. A comfy bed and a warm shower at the end of the trail each day. The food was good considering we stayed out of snow season and there was only one person in the kitchen. The salad was fresh and chicken cooked well. Only a few meals available but they were cooked well. Staff were lovely at all times. Wine and beer was cold! Highly recommend Stillwell for being handy to walk the trails nearby.”
