“Un logement hors du commun que je recommande. Le cottage à l'entrée du site est grand, confortable, bien équipé mais poussiéreux. Localisation stratégique pour les visite de châteaux alentours (Glamis, Dunnottar, Blair, Braemar) Le soir, à pied, la découverte de la faune forestière est fantastique : chouettes effraies, biches, écureuil, vaches, cochons et chevaux sauvages, et bien sûr : les castors ! Plus la nuit tombe, plus ils apparaissent. Pas farouches, on les voit vaquer à leurs……

“What can I say about The Inn On The Tay? From arriving to departing everything was first class. We had room 1 (Garry) and it was massive with the added bonus of a view of the river. The bar area was lovely and cosy and the staff were just lovely, nothing was too much. We had dinner in the restaurant and the menu is pretty good with pretty much everything you might expect from a pub menu. We were doing a cycle event the following morning and had to be up way before breakfast but if we had……

There was a communal space to sit and have food, bit disappointed bar down stairs was closed ,but not in full season so not major issue. One recommendation is to swap the wood framed bed for a divan based, Badly injured my knee stepping down into the room hitting knee on bed frame as so close to step, this could have been avoided if was a divan which……

“The bathroom was clean, and the bed sheets were clean, with a lovely smell even in the morning. Heating was on all night, so it wasn't cold in the morning, and after skiing at Glenshee, that warmth was lovely. The fireplace downstairs was so good, and we had a nice chat and watched TV. “Loved the old mill inn, the place is in a beautiful location. Very quaint boutique propriety with great food & amazing staff.”

“Easy to find. Private parking down the driveway. Extremely well presented inside from a decoration and artwork perspective. The bedroom I had was very well put together from an esthetics perspective. Also, a nice, and well maintained garden to wander around. There is an honesty bar with a good choice of whiskeys and other drinks, plus another larger lounge to relax in. Breakfast was very tasty with a good selection of options. The owners will recommend local places to eat, and during breakfast……
