Good experience, no negative comments on the hotel. Our original plan was to spend 3 nights, but due to unexpected circumstances it got trimmed to only 1 night in Alta. Room was clean, staff was really helpful. I would definitely consider staying at the same hotel on my next trip to Alta.

The staff was exceptional and always went out of their way to ensure your stay is fantastic. Rooms are spacious with wonderful amenities including tea and coffee area. Shower is wonderful with lots of hot water. Bathroom is heated, such an exceptional touch! Furnishings are beautiful. Breakfast is off the charts!! Incredible selection, more than you can imagine! Consistently fabulous, such an amazing benefit. Dinner is also exceptional. Incredible value truly the place to stay near airport . Shuttle runs all day into evening, so easy and cheap. Highly recommend your stay in Oslo being at Hotel Thon!

Alta 2 night stay

Great hotel, very helpful staff. Comfy beds and an equipped lovely spacious room. Fabulous food and breakfasts in the restaurant. And a full on view of the northern lights cathedral from our window. High floor is a must with the view we had. Highly recommend this hotel.

Nice room with a great view

Spacious room in good shape with amazing views of the Cathedral and the fjord. Great counter-top space in the bathroom. Everything clean and in good shape. Wonderful breakfast. Parking in the nearby garage somewhat pricy.

I’ve stayed at this hotel many times, and the main reason is the fantastic breakfast! I always only stay one night, so I never get to try eating dinner, but the restaurant has to be good.
