“We stayed here over the 4th of July! It was in a great location in the heart of Effingham right above a great little speakeasy and just a couple blocks from Joe Sippers for morning coffee. It looked exactly like the pictures — a big bright, open loft in a historic building that somehow still managed to feel modern and cozy. It’s one of those places that feels like being at home even though you’re away, especially with a well appointed kitchen with all the basic utensils and supplies for cooking.……

“Our family thoroughly enjoyed this lake cottage! The place was very clean, accurate to the listing and the hosts communicated quickly. There were a lot of extras available; toilet paper, paper towels, dish/laundry detergent, trash bags, outdoor insulated cups, spices. We enjoyed the numerous lake floats and the paddle board. My husband and kids caught quite a few fish from the dock as well. I would highly recommend staying here and also checking out Lakeside Marina for a pontoon rental. It was……
